Come on, Bill & Ted, I closed out my last two headphone sessions with Wonderwall... even if this most recent one was a Cat Power cover, man... if it's an American version, Ryan Adams' take (my absolute favorite) might just close it out again.😍

Right now, it’s Mate vs. Banderas with 9 votes in. 8 people want Two Doorें, 5 are leaning towards Americana, and only 2 picked Post-Punk. Voting stays open until Thursday night since I’m planning to host a listening session this Friday. But man, you guys aren't making this easy... the indecision is killing me! 😁

So, when exactly should those headphones be ready?

My apologies if this is already mentioned somewhere; I just can't bring myself to comb through the entire thread right now.😳

...just like I mentioned earlier... 😉 I'd definitely be watching the whole thing from the balcony... 🍿

Emily Thomas3 said:The most controversial playlist battle yet: Mate vs. Banderas! It’s Fugazi, Hüsker Dü, Coltrane, and the Pixies against EKV, Billy Joel, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, and Bruce Springsteen... This one's for the underground junkies, the forum regulars, and anyone who actually gets the joke.

Billy Joel?
BILLY JOEL????

Chloe Wilson11 said:Heh, you misread me... I was actually one of the two guys deciding eight years ago whether we should go with "listening room" or just "listening space." Even though the second option rolls off the tongue easier, the first one felt more substantial to us—plus, it’s technically the grammatically correct way to put it.

Fast forward to now: since '98, about 99% of the posters have used the shorter version instead of the proper term, regardless of what the rulebook says. I even remember Marinov stepping in to advise Lepog that they should finally start using the correct terminology on all the signage, but even after that push, everyone stuck to the shorthand. So, Emily Thomas3 is spot on here.

Sorry if this is already mentioned somewhere, I just really can't be bothered scrolling through the whole thread right now😳

No clue. Probably won't be until May.

And honestly, could we please cut down on the whining? Just two people are actually complaining. ☕

What's with all the whining? There’s no real hype until the album actually leaks online, honestly. But once it does? It’s gonna be a total show.

Honestly, "bakehouse" is probably one of the most awkward linguistic constructions in the English language, right up there with the word "osteology."

Just call it a bakery, for heaven's sake.

So, where exactly do you guys stand in this whole Chicago vs. Los Angeles rivalry?

I mean, seriously, Kopirnica is basically just part of the scenery here, it's like what are you even going to print at the shop if you aren't?

Ugh. Been living in Chicago for 8 years and I’m only just realizing there’s actually a difference between a print shop and a copy center. 😬

Just call it a print shop, whatever. It's like saying "chair" vs "seat." Honestly, who cares if it's technically right? 🙂

Heading down to the Kopirnica. I'm a Chicago guy through and through, not some suburbanite from the outskirts. 😁
