So, I’ve been dealing with this weird pressure above my eyes and in my cheekbones for about ten days now. Whenever I lift my eyebrows, there's this pulling sensation around my eyes and forehead, and if I squint, I feel that same tightness right in my cheeks. My vision seems fine, though I guess it gets a little... I don't know, kind of sparkly or flickery at times. It just feels like constant pressure throughout my whole face and cheek area. I was feeling pretty exhausted when this first started, but that's mostly gone now. No fever, no sore throat, nothing—my nose and everything else seem totally fine. I'm honestly not sure what could be causing it. I'm definitely planning to head to the doctor in the next few days, but I figured I'd ask here just in case anyone has any idea what this might be.

Thanks

Honestly, that sounds like some kind of intracranial pressure to me...
You should definitely go see a doctor, regardless.
And good luck! 🙂

I spent about 20 years dealing with similar cluster pains... eventually, I realized it was all just anxiety.
It’s most likely stress... but the doctor always insists on... checking my eyes too!

What does that pressure around and above the eyes actually "feel" like?
I once had that exact same sensation right above my eyes... it felt like someone was constantly poking at me with a thousand tiny needles.
I ended up seeing a doctor and went in for some scans, only to find out I just had a mild sinus infection.

So, if that’s how it’s hurting, that's likely your culprit. My doctor just handed me a prescription, told me to grab some Voltaren, and called it a day. 😵 😬

My sinuses have been totally blocked. I’ve been rinsing them out three times a day and it finally cleared up. WHO knows, but I guess I already started panicking a little bit. Thanks for all the support :-)

Lucky you that nothing happened. Honestly, my mom just got diagnosed with glaucoma after telling her eye doctor she felt like her eyes were literally going to pop out of her head. I guess sometimes it’s actually worth getting those symptoms checked out by a professional (even though I’m pretty convinced most doctors are total hacks 🙄 — I mean, they know a decent amount, sure, but there's way more stuff they have absolutely no clue about 😬 )
