Man, I have no clue why my last post vanished into thin air..
I wanted to ask if any of you have actually stayed at a spa resort—like those high-end wellness retreats in Palm Springs—and if you think that kind of treatment actually works. Is it even worth the money? Specifically when it comes to dealing with chronic back and joint pain..

Swimming, especially when you throw some extra exercises into the mix, is killer for your lower back. A buddy of mine has scoliosis, and he swears it’s been a lifesaver for his back pain. But, honestly, just hitting the pool once or twice a year isn't cutting it. His doctor told him he needs to be getting in the water at least twice a week to actually see results.

I’ve always been drawn to hot springs. There’s just something about the warm water. 😍 I’ve spent time at places like Cleveland, Aspen, California spas, Buckeye, and Palm Springs. For me, Cleveland was the winner. The California ones smelled absolutely terrible—like rotten eggs—and after visiting Aspen, I ended up with some kind of rash on my leg. 👎 As for back pain, I think the springs help, but you really need to start an exercise routine immediately. Some stretching, Pilates, or step aerobics would probably do the trick.

I spent five weeks once up in Palm Springs...
no TV, no gadgets, no tech junk or whatever...
I gotta admit, I felt like a new man, even if those first seven days were just incredibly boring without all the stuff I'm usually glued to..
I really should do it again..
maybe once a year at least.

So, what are we looking at price-wise?
I mean, say I wanted to spend two weeks at a place like Palm Springs?
Is it actually cheaper to go during the winter instead of the summer?

Look, if you break a leg as bad as I did, maybe it’s on the house.
