I was there last night.
It took about half an hour—the anesthesia was spot on, and the ENT specialist was absolutely phenomenal.
Got four stitches.

I honestly don't see what the big deal is... splinters in your ear, your eye, even your neck...☕

I'm curious about what kind of earrings those actually were—and how they ended up in Christian Sanchez44's neck. It's almost too much of a coincidence that they were filled with gunpowder, especially since she leaned right against her grandmother's wood stove...

If I had a decent camera, I’d show you all pictures of them...😁
So, I had these bamboo ones—hanging style, bought at a boutique in Austin.
The little bit that goes through the piercing is wood; it basically gets wedged into one side of the earring, then travels through the ear to the other side.
Naturally, it wasn't exactly a smooth process for me, so I started pushing a bit harder 😬 and the tip of the wood was split—at least, that's my guess—so the very end snapped off inside.
That thing caused an infection, and this capsule of scar tissue formed around the foreign object, which then migrated down a few centimeters—right under where my jawline meets my neck.
After a day or two, it moved even lower, and that was that. According to the doctor, there wasn't much else they could do.

I could have just left it alone, but the infections were happening way too frequently, so the medical team suggested we just get it out.

So, they numbed the area, made an incision, cut it out, and removed the entire mass.
That's pretty much the whole story.

I’ve actually been giving this some serious thought 😎 , but unfortunately, I don't have any hard evidence—you know, like that damn piece of wood—but I can still say with absolute certainty that it was THEIR earrings that caused these injuries...

As proof that his claims are actually true, he’s attaching a printout of a two-way conversation with Joseph.

I guess I should eventually prove my honesty to you—if that’s even necessary—but since you’ve already read through the entire thread, I don't see much point in attaching it anywhere else.

Christian Sanchez44 said:Hey there.
Like I mentioned... I currently have a splinter stuck right near my ear by my neck.

I went to the ER and they gave me some antibiotics to get the inflammation down before they surgically remove it.

If anyone has dealt with something similar, please reach out... I'm heading in for the procedure this Wednesday.
I just want to know what to expect.
Thanks.

🙂

😁

So you almost died because of some massive tribal earrings?😲
Why though? 😕 😁

Gosh, Darren, it sounds like you might have used a bit too much force when putting that earring in. 🙂

That’s what they’d call "improper product use"—basically, the warranty won't cover the damage if that's the case. 🤣
