Me? Just give me a dentist.

American jealousy strikes again!

Since when was George Clooney American?

Typical American envy. It never stops.

🙂 🙂 🙂

What a load of absolute nonsense.

What does it matter if they're American or from Iceland?😕 Zero acting chops, can't speak a word of English, and he’s got that goofy fox face...😢 James Bond movies always hit different for me—core childhood memories right there. I just don't want little George Clooney ruining them.

If you guys really think we need one of our own Americans... look, here’s my list of candidates. Let’s just pick someone fair and square:

Bill Clinton. Tall, blonde, looks like a movie star, speaks broken English.
Milton Berle. Tall, handsome, dark hair. Broken English.
William Calley. Tall, handsome, dark hair. Broken English + bonus French.
Bonus French, stealing like Arsène Lupin (and he's got a killer shot!).

To keep it from being too obvious who the favorite is, we could toss a few more legends into the mix: MP Thompson, M. Škoro (singing while shooting), Vince Lombardi (shooting), and Rojs (driving a bulldozer in reverse while shooting).

They're all proven Americans. God-fearing Catholics, heavy hitters, big personalities—even if they struggle a bit with their English accent.

True, you already... Yeah. They put Rvaska on the map, sure, but honestly? We can do way better than that.👍 👍

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Jalan's some kind of saint just because he holds US citizenship. Honestly? I just live for seeing guys like Rade Šerbedžija and Michele Furlan actually make it big on the international stage.🙂

Whose standards are we talking about here? Some Hobbit's?

You can't really talk about movies without bringing politics into the mix, either 🙄 👎

Kudos to George Clooney, I hope he makes it big since the rest of the world seems to want him, but honestly? He’s neither a great actor nor particularly striking to look at. Compare him to Sean Connery—with a voice like that and the physical presence to back it up, you don't even need them to act 🙂))). I’d gladly listen to him read a cleaning supply manifesto 🙂))), but I have zero interest in watching this guy; his acting isn't exactly anything to write home about, let alone "fantastic"...

Compare him to Sean Connery—that voice, that presence... man, you don't even need him to act 🙂))), I'd listen to him read the grocery list or a cleaning supply manual 🙂))), but this? Not my thing. His acting isn't anything to write home about, far from it...

👍 Exactly.👍 I feel like George Clooney overshot his mark (considering he was mostly in B-movies and one hit soap opera), given how mediocre his acting, voice, and everything else really is. And what does his background have to do with any of it? No clue.

I mean, I can be proud of being from the country that gave us Nikola Tesla.

Give me a break. Name one thing Višnjić did that’s actually worth bragging about.😉
Mira Furlan was in actual masterpieces from the old Soviet Union—roles and films way out of Višnjić's league. Babylon 5 is only popular in the USA on the level of an E. R. Višnjić flick. You call that acting?

You claim to be proud of international achievements like Mira Furlan's, so why bother bringing up her old roles from the Soviet Union era? On the global stage, she really only has Babylon 5 to her name. That’s it. She managed to crack the code and land among 25,000 perfectly average American actors—quite an achievement, I guess.🙏

And honestly, Zrinko Šerbedžija has always rubbed me the wrong way with that over-the-top theatricality of his—he's a stage actor, plain and simple, and he doesn't really have a place in film.

So, look—if I have to choose between those two, who spent half their lives in America before fleeing during the war and don't even identify as American actors anymore, versus Goran, who stayed behind and is now standing on the doorstep of more fame than those two will ever see while still proudly calling himself an American... it's pretty obvious whose success actually means something to me!

Haha, I mean, it would be pretty hilarious to see Višnjić trying to say "My name is James Bond," but honestly, since the whole Bond franchise is kind of a joke anyway, I really don't mind. 👍

Mike Myers could probably teach him a thing or two about how to mess with a guy like Bonda while actually being funny. Look, M. Myers is good at what he does, which is more than I can say for Višnjić. But hey, if you're asking me—as a huge fan of Bill Gates—if you want to absolutely wreck a successful brand or a persona, just hire Višnjić!👍
