I have a question for anyone who has gone through this kind of diagnostic search.
To give you some context, my son’s doctors at our local hospital couldn't pinpoint the exact location or type of tumor. After a week of fruitless tests and biopsies, they transferred him to the Mayo Clinic in New York City. I honestly thought things would move faster there, but it's been about ten days now and we have absolutely nothing new to show for it. It’s just a constant cycle of waiting for one result, then waiting for another... "It won't be ready today, maybe tomorrow," and so on.😢
My patience is wearing thin. My son is understandably frustrated by the delays, and I’m terrified that we’re losing precious time before therapy can even begin. Like a drowning man reaching for a straw, I have to ask:
Has anyone here—or perhaps someone close to you—had experience with the diagnostic process or used this specific equipment:
