Way to go!
It’s his first major win without actually leading the pack heading into the final round. Honestly, a massive deal for him, and maybe even for the sport itself.
The first major victory we've seen since 2008.
Back in 2017, he was sitting way down at 1199th in the world rankings.
2008: Wins US Open on torn ACL
2010: Neck injury
2011: Sprained MCL, Achilles 2012
2012: Achilles 2012
2014: Back surgery
2015: Back surgery
2017: Back surgery
2019: Wins The Masters (first major since 2008)

Hey everyone. I'm pretty new to the world of golf, so I have a quick question for you all.
Where can I find stats for the 'Highest Number of Strokes Recorded on Any Hole'? I tried digging through player by player manually and found that Ian Woosnam had an 8 on the 11th hole during his first round (https://www.cbssports.com/golf/playe...59/ian-woosnam), but is there actually a place where this data for The Masters is listed so I don't have to hunt through every single profile manually? Thanks!

I honestly didn't think I'd ever see Tiger Woods put on that green jacket again. I really didn't... but I guess I'm glad he pulled it off. Good for him.

For The Masters

And this covers the whole PGA Tour (not including the European, Asian, or other tours)

Thanks so much, but I was actually wondering about this specific Masters. Is there anyone who has performed even worse than Woosnam's eight strokes on the 11th hole?

I mean, guys like Chink and Stenson 8 have had eight too, but those were on par 5s. So, I guess Woosnam’s score is still the absolute worst single-hole result (+4) out there.

Jovan Rebula shot a 70 in the opening round, sitting at -1

Now, making waves in American golf, is Big Easy 2 – Jovan Rebula, the nephew of 42-year-old Ernie Els. At just 14 years old, Rebula—who is the son of Ernie’s sister—is a member of The Ernie Els & Fancourt Foundation and the reigning American Amateur champion. Rebula recently secured the American national title following a tense three-hole playoff against Ilija Durdevic at the American Golf Club.
Jovan, whose father Dragan is an American, wrapped up the 72-hole tournament tied for the lead with a total of 286 (77, 69, 75, and a blistering 65). It’s an incredible run for a 14-year-old. “I am very proud of my achievement,” Rebula said, especially since he started the final round trailing the leader by a massive eight shots.

quietfox38 forgot.
My apologies, my friend.
I honestly prefer it when Fox Sports handles the broadcast.
It’s just a much higher caliber of production...

Tiger Woods is dealing with some seriously nasty leg injuries, and he’s heading in for surgery
