So, some buzzing started in my ears last night right after dinner, and here I am,
nearly 20 hours later, and the damn sound won't quit.
It’s starting to get under my skin big time—does anyone actually know what this means??
It’s fine when I’m busy, talking to someone, or blasting music, but
just sitting here typing this, I feel like jumping out a window because of how much it's driving me nuts...
Could this be from a draft or something? Just a random chill hitting me wrong???

For the record, I don't have any health issues. My blood work is perfect, my blood pressure is solid, I feel energetic and full of life, I'm not old, and my hearing is sharp despite this ringing, but still, having this constant buzzing is just garbage... 😕

So I just got back from the clinic... it wasn't my blood pressure...
Honestly, I totally freaked out because I'd been reading all these horror stories online. I spent half an hour just staring at the monitor waiting for something to go wrong, but in the end, everything was pretty much within the normal range.
The doctor told me I need to use an inhaler, apparently saying some of those tubes might be clogged up 😕

But look, my ears are still ringing like crazy. It’s been a day and a half and I haven't slept a wink because of it, man...

Who on earth told you that? A blood pressure cuff?
What else did he say? Did he even bring up anything about your wife?

Yeah, sure, my blood pressure cuff gave me all the info... oh, and he had some choice words about your mother too!

I’ve actually read stuff about that too, could be it!

Anyone else dealt with this crap, or am I just losing my mind here?
Ran into a buddy who said he had the same thing for a few days before it either leveled out or just vanished—he doesn't even notice it anymore.
But me? This ringing is still going strong and it's driving me absolutely insane! 🙂

What the hell, man??? 😠

I've had this for months now.
Now that I've come down with a cold, everything is completely congested, making the sound even more noticeable.

Read this and check out this topic.

Just this constant, high-pitched frequency—it's relentless!

Has anyone else dealt with this for this long??? Or maybe you're still dealing with it right now???
What is going on, damn it??? 😠

Maybe you should go see a doctor about it?
Because, let's be honest, this is JUST an online forum... 😁

I had some ringing in my ears after a nasty bout with the flu. I went to my doctor, and they ended up flushing out my ear canal.

That was it 😛

Is it a high-pitched sound, like the kind you hear on TV sometimes (specifically when there's a power surge 🤔)? Is it similar to those high frequencies they test for during an audiology exam?

It can also happen if you spend a lot of time sitting by your PC. Depending on the setup, computers often put out this constant, fairly loud hum that we just tune out without even realizing it.

help!!!! I’ve had this constant ringing in my ears for five days straight now. It gets so much worse at night. I can't sleep, and honestly, I'm losing my mind here!
I’ve been spiraling down some deep internet rabbit holes trying to figure out what this could be, and now I am absolutely terrified.
What do I even do? During the day I can sort of deal with it because there's actual ambient noise around me, but once everything goes quiet at night, it's just this relentless buzzing in my left ear!!
It's not like I went to any loud concerts or anything, so I have zero clue why this suddenly started out of nowhere.
Has anyone else dealt with this? When does it finally stop??

What should I do? I can manage during the day because there's other background noise, but at night it's just constant ringing in my left ear!!
I haven't been to any loud concerts or anything, so I really don't know why this started.

Honestly, don't be ridiculous and ask for advice on a forum. Just go see a doctor immediately!! You shouldn't mess around with ear issues.

So, I just got back from the doctor and they prescribed me this stuff:

naonex
benil drops
saline spray..

Basically, my whole system is just totally wrecked by allergies and allergic rhinitis...
It's annoying because whenever I stay on top of my nasal sprays, the ringing in my ears stays away, but if I slack off for even a couple of days, that buzzing starts right back up again.

Missed my doctor's appointment today, but I'm definitely going tomorrow. Honestly, I'm just dreading how I'm going to get through tonight once everything finally goes quiet.
I’ll probably have to blast some music or something just to drown out my own thoughts... 🙂
It's not like I have any allergies or anything, so I really doubt this is an allergic reaction...
Could it be from that flight? But it's been a full week since I landed back in the States. Is it even possible for this kind of thing to hang on for a whole week without letting up??
It's so incredibly irritating, and I can't focus on work for even a second... so yeah, I totally get why anyone else dealing with this would be losing their mind. 🙂

I've been dealing with this for over two years now. I saw a doctor because my skin inside the ear gets incredibly dry due to some hormonal issues, which leads to flaking. Those tiny flakes end up landing on the eardrum and sticking, causing these weird noises... It actually feels like there's a butterfly fluttering inside my ear, I'm not kidding. 😳
The doctor prescribed mineral oil, but it didn't help at all—just made everything greasy, so I stopped using it. Now, I just try to live with the ringing... 🤷

I’ve been dealing with this exact same issue for about two or three years now.
How did this even happen?
😁
I was playing some pickup basketball and took a hard hit straight to the face and ear... ever since then, there’s been this constant, low-level ringing whenever it gets quiet.

If anyone happens to know a solution... I suppose it would be helpful.🙂
