And honestly, if I never drink another glass of Cabernet Sauvignon again, it'll be too soon. 🤣...

Really enjoyed that movie. I don't drink Cabernet Sauvignon, though.

What can I even say about this nonsense? Should we maybe point people toward this link instead: Just for the highly suggestible!

The movie itself is actually pretty decent—definitely worth a watch—but man, the audio is just way too loud... compared to this, "lost in translation" looks like a tiny little music video from Prodigy!

Haha, nice link 😬

I didn't feel like the movie was dragged out at all; I actually thought it was quite charming 😁

Don't worry, I'm not—but I definitely share a certain worldview, specifically a Paramount Pictures kind of perspective, with the guy who runs "The Best page ..."

For instance, these links are right up my alley:

Five trashy movies that people absolutely obsess over

The honest truth about the acting skills of Mr. Ben Stiller

And there's plenty more where that came from; the guy is an internet legend—honestly, the only person more famous than him is MAHIR, the first true internet "celebrity"

By the way, you can't even compare wine to beer, brandy, or moonshine (what can I say? I grew up in the rural, hilly, backcountry parts of the country) ...

edit — just realized some Maddox superfan beat me to the punch and posted the link already 😁

Ramblers said:Man, just start a separate thread for your signature so it doesn't hog half the screen 😉 nobody's actually reading it anyway

...honestly, I might... though it’d probably still be smaller than the space occupied by your brain cells...🙂 😁

I usually give a movie at least fifteen minutes to actually grab me—to surprise me, fascinate me, or just get under my skin... but this? This was honestly worse than your average episode of Curb your enthusiasm, which, if you think about it, is almost a compliment...

I don't know... just bad, plain and simple... someone mentioned the dialogue... nothing special there either...

Seriously, such an incredible movie...
The vibes, the cast, the sets—everything just totally blew me away at the theater yesterday... absolutely top-tier stuff.

And oh my god, you guys, I was laughing so hard! I honestly thought they were gonna kick me out of the cinema (thankfully there were only like 7 or 8 people there): That part where he goes back for his wallet (after that whole ridiculous bit where she insists on doing everything herself), and this guy is just acting all unhinged and rude to everyone, clearly because she set him up to get caught with some "younger guy"... then the camera pans toward the wallet and cuts over to the TV. And on the screen? Just Bush, making this incredibly stupid face...

😂 🤣 I'm actually cracking up all over again just thinking about it!

Honestly, this flick is pure cinema gold for the true connoisseurs 👍!

It feels way, way more grounded than most American movies I've seen... those two characters feel like actual people I've actually met before. Plus, Cali has this vibe that reminds me of Europe, everything just feels cozy, intimate, and totally real..

It’s like some kind of twisted pearl they drop when they smash the car just so the bride doesn't suspect why her groom shows up with a broken nose... And then they’re just standing there next to each other looking like two lost kids in space... 🤣

A friend was telling me she saw this report—apparently, that winery owner with the long, curly hair saw his sales absolutely skyrocket because they rebranded one of their wines as Sideways... Or something like that. Word is, tour buses are pulling up and people are buying it like crazy. 🤣

I swear, I was laughing so hard I thought they’d kick me out of the theater—luckily there were only about seven or eight of us there. So, he goes back to grab his wallet after that whole "I have to do everything myself" routine, and this guy starts acting like a total jerk, making a huge scene. You can tell she set him up to catch him with some "younger guy," and then the camera pans toward the wallet right as it passes the TV screen. And on the TV? Just some guy with the most clueless expression you've ever seen...

Then once he gets back to the car, Jack just passes out cold. 🤣...

Oh man, I was laughing so hard... honestly, I thought I might actually get kicked out of the theater. Luckily, there were only about seven or eight of us in there at the time. So, this guy goes back to grab his wallet—after that whole ridiculous moment where he has to handle everything himself, which is always how it goes for me—and the guy is just acting all aggressive and crude, total jerk vibes. It’s pretty obvious she staged the whole thing just to "catch" her husband with some younger guy. Then the camera pans over toward the wallet, slides past the TV screen, and right there on the TV... just Bush, making this incredibly stupid face...

Not to spoil the mood 😉 but that joke is a little long-winded, don't you think? 😁
