I want to highlight one specific pairing: some of the loudest hip-hop acts on the planet meeting a completely burnt-out metal side project—which basically consists of almost the entire DMST crew at this point. Dec 09 is easily the strongest candidate for the craziest show we've ever hosted. 😈

It’s worth noting that this isn't some massive tour for dälek—they actually just accepted an invitation to play in Vienna and decided to squeeze in a few exclusive shows across Europe at locations they actually like. Honestly, my ego took a bit of a hit when they mentioned we were among their chosen stops 😳

I guess I just don't trust The Stooges anymore after that last album—just a bunch of recycled chord progressions and lyrics that felt totally played out. Honestly, they sounded like a cheap imitation of Motörhead... maybe I'd prefer a country version instead. But this time, I definitely won't be skipping Mambo Kurt 😁

It’s true, the last one wasn't exactly a stroke of luck (unless we're talking about "pretty Fucked up," which usually happens when I've had too much to drink). But looking at their website, they seem to realize their peak was with "the horned hand" and "Evil Powers of rock'n'roll," so I'm holding out hope for something better... 🙂

It was the same way back when I saw Metallica live—man, that show was incredible
so there's no way they aren't still good😁

After "The horns," they still have four more left in the tank. One is country—and it’s fantastic. Another is solid through and through. One might actually be their absolute best work, while the last one is pretty mediocre... But looking at the catalog as a whole, they've packed in an incredible amount of hits.
