Is there any image editing software out there (ideally free) that lets me crop out specific parts of a photo, including all those weird curves and irregular shapes?
Basically, I'm looking for something that works like cutting with scissors.

Adobe Photoshop has a lasso tool, but it’s honestly not great if you need any real precision...
I’m not really sure which free software includes a lasso. Adobe Photoshop has one, but it definitely isn't free. 😁

Anyway, quick question—does anyone have some spare time & the patience to help me crop something out of a photo?

I’m sure everyone is going to jump on this, but if you're interested, I've got you covered.
I have Adobe Photoshop licensed under my own name 😁 🙂
