If you're into those psycho-thrillers that almost hit the mark—and love pointing out logic gaps and random non sequiturs—you gotta check this one out...

The movie could've been way better if the director, producers, and writer actually tried to flesh out the characters and plot beyond just the basic premise. Which isn't bad, though—the whole idea of the FBI training a squad of specialists to hunt down serial killers is solid.
There are a few decent crime scenes, and having LL Cool J & Val Kilmer is a plus, but even they can't save this total disaster of a film.

"Bonus": the most annoying character dies last... 🙂 🙄

Well, it's fine, really... I was just hoping to catch Kilmer in something along the lines of Salton Sea. Not exactly my thing, but whatever... anyway, moving on... I'm actually holding out for Bang, Bang, Kiss, Kiss... word is it's actually decent.

Val Kilmer is a legit actor—a true thespian in every sense of the word... I just don't get why he ends up in these total flops, honestly...

The movie is decent enough, too. It’s hard to tell what the actual stakes are.

What bothered me most was that the main villain turns out to be from Hacker, where he's portrayed as the good guy, so I never suspected him for a second. 😁 I kept thinking the whole thing would just turn out to be some simulation for the two of them, like some kind of testing scenario. 😉

I don't know... I heard he was busy doing all sorts of things at sixteen, and some say (allegedly) he was also cleaning out inboxes ;-)

You know, the one involving those criminal profilers stuck out on that desolate little island...

It’s got those heavy vibes that remind you so much of Agatha Christie and her classic "And Then There Were None."

To be honest, I found myself feeling a little let down by this one.

The plot is just incredibly predictable. Very much so.

BUT, I will say it does nail the atmosphere—they did a fantastic job capturing that sense of claustrophobia—and the methods used in the killings are actually quite intriguing, which is a huge plus for movies in this genre, not to mention the pacing of the story is quite solid.

I won't dwell on it too much, because I really can't stand it when critics push their agendas by shouting things like "go see that movie" or saying it's "not even in madness."

At the end of the day, just do whatever you feel like doing. ☕

watched it last night—the movie was alright, but two things really stuck with me. first, Christian Slater dies off way too fast (and he’s easily one of the most brutal deaths in the cast, if I do say so myself), and second, somehow LL Cool J actually has a better physique than I do🙂

Look, Renny Harlin might not be the best when it comes to deep character development, but the guy definitely knows how to direct a damn scene.👍 👍

I sat through that piece of trash too. I won't say the movie is boring, per se, but man, it’s a total masterclass in being unbelievable and completely illogical. And when you factor in that two of the BIGGEST actors... I won't get into spoilers, you know exactly what I'm getting at. 😁

What a shame—I was actually looking forward to this one, but it seems like it isn't worth the $6.75...

Yeah, totally. Honestly, anyone who read Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None" back in elementary school is going to figure out where this is heading within the first ten minutes of the film. 🙄

I actually got mocked for not knowing how to pick a good movie from the rental store, but seriously, based on what I could tell, this felt really promising at first. 😁

I watched it two days ago, and honestly, the movie was absolute garbage. Kilmer was terrible.

I guess this might be one of the better films we've seen lately, at least from my perspective. I've always had a soft spot for this particular genre, though it feels like they don't make them like this much anymore. It felt a little bit silly to me that Christian Slater dies first, I suppose, but that whole sequence with the dominoes was probably the best part of the entire movie.

I caught a movie yesterday... honestly, it wasn't bad if you just needed something to kill some time. It’s such a shame how predictable the whole thing turned out to be! Right from that early scene where the blonde, that quintessential "all-American sweetheart" type, is standing on the edge of a skyscraper chatting away, you can already tell she’s going to be the hero, and he's clearly the psycho... I was really hoping that as the plot unfolded, we might get a more sensationalist twist... maybe something involving some supernatural force or something along those lines... but then it turns out the whole thing was just a revenge spree carried out by a frustrated FBI agent against his own colleagues... What a total letdown!!!! The only part that actually kept me interested was wondering who would snap and how they'd do it! As far as the core concepts go, I have to give them credit though!!!!!
