Review: Logitech MX510

I don't want to clutter things up with a new thread, so I'll just ask here... anyway, I picked up a new MX 518 a few days ago and man, I am loving this beast. By default, my DPI settings in SetPoint were at 400, 800, and 1800, but I actually dialed that top one down to 1600 because 1800 felt a bit too fast for me 😁
. One thing though—how do I get that notification sound to actually work? I enabled it in SetPoint, but when I switch DPI levels, there’s zero sound. It looks like it's turned on, but nothing happens. Anyone else run into this?

You really ought to have started a fresh thread instead of cluttering up this one... since we're talking about peripherals, that's where the conversation belongs, don't you think?

As for me, I'm not even getting any notification when my DPI changes on my MX 518, either...

My bad, I didn't mean to start a whole new thread over nothing, but alright... here's how you do it. Once you figure out how to turn it on, just head into the Control Panel, go to Sounds and Audio Devices, then Sounds. Under Program Events, you'll see Logitech SetPoint listed—just select the sound you want from there.
