Um, I just see her as this awkward, lanky girl with decent lips (and those breasts from Dangerous Liaisons don't count, she was basically a kid back then).

Still, there’s something magnetic about her, even if she looks like a girl with oversized thumbs now—built more for stopping things than anything else (Even Cowgirls Get the Blues).

But as far as being an "actress" with range, emotion, or a massive filmography... if you ignore the early stuff—like playing some little girl getting screwed over by John Malkovich, or those weird, manic roles—there isn't much left. There's the unconvincing Gattaca (where she falls for that creep), where she's just totally bland. What else is there?

She's alright, but to join a fan club, you need that blind devotion despite the obvious flaws. Kind of like those people who love Sandra Bullock—love is blind, I guess.😁

That is exactly my point. If we are talking strictly about classic beauty standards, I suppose she wouldn't even make the shortlist. However, personally, I find her absolutely captivating.
As for Uma Thurman as an actress? The truth is, some actors possess certain facial expressions or gestures that mean they don't even have to try to act. They simply embody the role. That is how I view Uma (Watch Pulp Fiction, by the way). It has been a long time since I've seen anyone portray a more drugged-out yet seductive wife, and believe me, I've seen them, I really have...🙂

Look, on this photo (check out those fingers, man!) and every other one, I see the thumbs, I see a needle in her sternum, and a tiny little beach bum butt. But she’s got a face, sure, and a voice too... the only thing is, she just can't act. Plain and simple.
