Banderasu...

What’s all this talk about The Cardigans—when, where, and how much is it going to cost?
I certainly hope the answer isn't $67!

I think they're playing at Spider. I'm not sure about the dates, but I think Sophia Gonzalez6 might know, so just wait for her to chime in. 😁

How much can we actually trust this, though? There isn't even a December tour schedule listed on the band's official website.

Well, there goes the first brilliant move of the season. The same agency is booking two massive international acts for the exact same night, even though they already announced another global superstar for that date. But hey, whatever. Chicago is a big enough city, and apparently, people have money to burn... 🙄

As far as I know, it's a done deal. They're playing in Athens at the Taxi Service on 12.12., and they'll likely hit New York City in between. The webmasters just haven't caught up yet. 😁

Wait, when is Deep Purple actually playing? I heard they were at Saint Nicholas on December 6th.
True?

Yeah, Deep Purple is playing at the Fairgrounds on Dec 6, and The Cardigans have the Small Arena open.

So, when exactly are these shows happening?
Who’s playing on Dec 6, and who’s up on Dec 10? Or am I misreading things—are they both scheduled for the same night?
Or are we talking about entirely different concerts altogether?

Thanks a million. I’m actually going to print this out and pin it to my wall—both at the office and at home—just in case anyone tries to feed me any nonsense...

Now I finally know who to turn to for actual health advice when the misinformation starts flying 😉 😉

Look, you provocateur, how could he not have been 😁
It was actually decent, though they were being a bit too suffocating—and when I say "they," I mean the entire "programming committee" over at SC Agency (Stipe Musura, Pista, Sale Dragas, Ilko Culic, Maric - Multikultura, and Vedran Meniga). That said, the doors were open to anyone with a 👍
As far as the program goes, it honestly sounds incredibly ambitious and solid...

So, did anyone actually address what happens once the bankruptcy trustee for the Student Union is replaced following the elections?

Hahaha, they aren't 😁
But I have to admit, the whole setup is pretty interesting. You've got people sitting on the Student Union programming committee who haven't stepped foot in a classroom in decades. They’re booking shows in venues like Madison Square Garden, all funded by the Student Union—basically the government. Since they aren't playing for keeps, they don't give a damn about the bottom line. They’re just working for a fixed salary, which lets them throw out offers that are totally uncompetitive compared to actual promoters. If I said the whole thing reminds me of a warped version of a socialist system, I'd probably just sound bitter 😁

Nobody has brought up the Buzzcocks yet, though I suppose they'll be performing early next year anyway, won't they?

No way, Buzzcocks?! How on earth am I supposed to handle that... 🙂

I can't be bothered to write an email, so I'll just drop it here: my record from Mexico finally arrived (you can tell it’s from there by the two-headed eagle on the inner sleeve 😁). I'll send it over as soon as I find someone heading to Chicago.
