I couldn't find an existing thread for this movie, so I figured I’d just start a new one...
I caught it yesterday, and man, what a killer thriller—the craftsmanship is honestly incredible. And this guy Collin Farrell (hope I spelled that right!) looks like he actually knows his way around a script...
Plus, having Kiefer Sutherland providing the voice for the sniper completely drives the whole thing; it keeps you on the edge of your seat at every single turn...
You absolutely have to watch it!!!

Total waste of time—just a bunch of filler... they're clearly dragging it out just to tease the guys in the audience via the visuals (C. Farrell 😉 😁 ); all together 👎

Every single review I see is a perfect five out of five. 👎 Just yesterday, I saw a five for this one and four for Anger Management. 🙄

And then you have people claiming they didn't expect to give another Sandler movie a high score, but they just can't help themselves—this one is genuinely hilarious. 🙄 Anyway, changing the subject... 🙄 I honestly need some Anger Management after dealing with these two idiots. 🙄

Finally caught this one. Hey there, fellow cinephiles!😁 The movie was 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍
Top recommendation!
It’s intense as hell, though the ending drags a bit.😢
Farrell was awesome!
Great directing!
The script... Man, if I remember right, it was penned by one of Cohen's buddies.🙏
M... solid flick!👍

I haven't actually sat down to watch the whole movie yet, but I caught a clip over on Apple's site and honestly? It looks like one of the best things I've seen in a minute.

Regarding what Pauline posted about the setting—there's this one absolute masterpiece that takes place entirely within a single room (a jury room in a courthouse), and man, it is top-tier cinema. I think it's called 12 Angry Men or something like that.

I sat down today to watch this seventy-five-minute film, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. Even though the entire plot unfolds right around a single telephone booth, the movie isn't boring in the slightest. The tension and suspense are perfectly balanced, to the point where I could barely even focus on my popcorn 🙂 Honestly, this is the first time I've actually had leftovers at the end of a movie!!! My top recommendation: definitely give this a watch, though you don't necessarily need to head to the theater... watching it on a digital file will do just fine. 👍

Anyone catch the movie "Phone Booth"?

The theme is freaking intense—super gripping—but I don't know, feels like something's missing... like the whole thing just left me hanging. Anyone else get that vibe, or am I just losing my mind?

I found the film to be absolutely wonderful... though I wouldn't say it left anything to be desired; if anything, it felt slightly overindulgent during that opening sequence where they parade all those statistics about mobile phones, handsets, and the telephone booth, not to mention that final shot where the camera plunges through a cable, straight into a switching station, and zooms all the way out to a satellite in orbit...

(It is as if they were saying—look, we certainly delivered a gripping thriller for you, but please, don't for one second assume that is all there is to it... oh, no! We aren't shallow enough to overlook the deeper moral lessons, and we certainly hope you won't either! Now, allow us to offer a tiny bit of assistance by placing this film within a much broader and more profound context... just imagine, dear viewers, how all those telephone wires and connections could be utilized—or exploited! Hmm... are you truly, absolutely certain that no one is ever listening in on you? Hmm... yes... do think on that...)

The movie is alright... if you're looking for something to kill time with tonight
I think they went a little overboard trying to hype it up, but it isn't half bad. Personally, I'm just not a huge fan of Farrell. That's about all I've got to say on the matter.

Honestly, I was getting so incredibly annoyed by how much they kept harping on about the sniper, even though he barely actually used it—maybe two times, maybe three, it doesn't even matter at this point.

The movie’s just punchy, smooth, and totally low-key... feels like it was born from some non-commercial spark of inspiration rather than a boardroom meeting.

Fantastic movie. Honestly, it was way better than I expected. Even though it’s a crime thriller, I found myself laughing the whole time—that mysterious lawyer was just hilarious. A total masterpiece. If you love movies with intense suspense and great atmosphere, this is my top recommendation. 10/10

One of my all-time favorites from Colin Farrell, and honestly, one of my favorite movies ever. 😁 It’s wild that this was directed by the same guy who absolutely butchered Batman with that total disaster of a Batman & Robin. I think he actually had the potential to make a decent Batman, he just completely missed the mark on what makes the character work, 🤷 but that's a whole other conversation.

I watched it a while ago and it left quite a strong impression on me. It’s a very tense film given the single-location setting, and C. Farrell delivers a solid performance. 😁

Suspense, thrills, drama... plus I couldn't stop laughing like a maniac. What more could you ask for? I'm already dying for a sequel! 😁

This is truly a prime example of a film that is both completely entertaining and genuinely original! The entire cast—glued to the couch for that brief 81-minute runtime—was absolutely captivating. 😁
