I watched it for the first time on DivX, and my immediate reaction was, "Damn it, this is a movie you have to see on the big screen." It was quite a thrill when Hero finally made its way to Cinestar! 🙂

An exceptional film achievement! I've watched it two or three times now. It's about the birth of China as a unified nation, and really about the rise of the Chinese national identity. A massive production with truly magnificent crowd scenes. Such a powerful film in spirit and message—showing that strength lies in unity, and that people should sacrifice themselves for the greater good of their nation!

That sense of common good is so rare in today's world of mindless egoism and greed.

Rebecca Miller2 - basically Ivan Lukic - has been hanging around this forum for at least four years now. I actually witnessed his early rants back when I was still posting in the Religion and Philosophy section, during my younger and much more naive days. You have to understand that Rebecca Miller2 maintains a rather hostile relationship with the Catholic Church, which—by his own admission—has tried to take him out on several occasions because of his preaching the TRUTH. He is just such an extreme Christian that he finds fault with everyone: gays, lesbians, Wall Street, communists, women, and even fellow Catholics and Protestants alike.

Every news group and forum needs one person like this. 😂
