Ocean's Eleven, hands down.
Plus pretty much anything else by Tarantino.

But honestly? Pi still blows everything else out of the water.

Pulp Fiction, How Rock 'n' Roll Died, Big Blue, Before the Rain, Run, Lola, Run... there's more in there somewhere, but my brain is drawing a blank. Oh, right—Paris, Texas. Honestly, they're all pretty solid; we're talking pure classics here.

I’m not going to waste my breath listing all those Tarantino flicks or Kubrick films you guys have already covered...

But I absolutely have to throw Lynch and Badalamenti into the mix.
Think about something like Lost Highway or Mulholland Dr.

Of course, we have to start with the full John Williams catalog first and foremost. Beyond the Star Wars stuff we already talked about, you've got Born on the Fourth of July, Jaws 1 and 2, Indiana Jones, E.T., A.I. Artificial Intelligence—honestly, there are so many I won't even try to list them all... But if I had to pick my absolute favorites? Probably Jon Barry and the score for Dances with Wolves. I also have to give a nod to the legendary Miklos Rozsa and his work on films like Ben-Hur, Quo Vadis, and Spellbound... Fun little fact about Miklos, too—he was actually the mentor to the great Jerry Goldsmith (who did Star Trek and Total Recall). On top of everything else mentioned, there’s also Big Blue, Blade Runner, Conan, and hundreds of others...

Look, we’re talking about movies with great musical scores here, not just soundtracks. To me, those are two completely different things. There are plenty of films where the music fits the vibe perfectly, but that doesn't mean I actually want to sit around listening to the soundtrack on my own time.😳

I’m not typically one to obsess over soundtracks, though I have to admit—most of the ones mentioned here are undeniably top-tier. The only other ones that immediately come to mind are the score for Gladiator (I won't go there regarding the film itself, but the music is truly exquisite) and the X-Files theme, which is iconic. Oh, and the music from Ghost in the Shell is brilliant too. 👍

Every single one of Kubrick's films has an absolutely killer soundtrack.

Speaking of soundtracks—that one from Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift is actually pretty solid.
