Japanese tourists loving the UK Potteries?

It's pretty cool seeing how one person's passion for the Spode Museum is actually driving tourism from Japan. I didn't realize there was such a strong connection between Japanese visitors and the Potteries region. Does anyone know if this is a growing trend for other UK heritage sites?
