I've always had healthy feet—total walker. But ever since I dealt with an ingrown toenail (my first actual foot issue, just a few months back), I've been dealing with these painful swellings on the inner side of my foot, right where the arch meets the heel. Here.

Every single pair of shoes I’ve owned for years suddenly feels wrong. No matter what I put on, my feet ache and swell up. Off the record, I was told my arches might be collapsing, which AFAIK can be fixed with foot exercises. Obviously, I should see an orthopedist, but getting an appointment right now is a massive headache.

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? Has anyone else dealt with this kind of swelling, and if so, what actually worked to get you back on your feet?

Dealing with plantar fasciitis?
That's right where the plantar fascia attaches to your heel.
It’s also the prime spot where a heel spur decides to show up uninvited.
Usually, you can manage the pain through some targeted exercises, stretching out your feet and Achilles tendon, icing it down, or just grabbing some decent orthotics.

Does anyone happen to know how long it usually takes to clear up a stye?

Thanks in advance!
