Hands down, the best title would be "One Night in New York"🤣

Oh, you mean that movie where the guy ends up living with a tribe and meets Kevin Costner? 🤔
It’s a solid flick, for real. 👍

CHOPPING MALL (1986)

A cinematic exploration of a world where a trip to the local shopping center might truly demand a heavy physical toll.

Criminals on Vacation (In Bruges) 🤣

And then there's that comment about "Jennifer's beautiful body." Ridiculous. 😁

I have nothing to say to you regarding "Jennifer's Body." It’s beneath me.
...

🤦
This stuff of ours sounds like softcore porn.

DIE HARD...I mean, come on. It’s easily the greatest title in cinema history.

"Night of the Day of the Dawn of the Son of the Bride of the Return of the Revenge of the Terror of the Attack of the Evil, Mutant, Alien, Flesh Eating, Hellbound, Zombified Living Dead Part 2: In Shocking 2-D"

Yeah, I’m serious—that actually is the full title. IMDB link. 😬

"To damn something"—I've always had a soft spot for that expression. It’s got a certain grit to it.
And that phrase about "living above a coward's nest"... honestly, it took me a long time to actually wrap my head around what that was supposed to mean.

A few that I find quite lovely:

hush now, charlotte...
hurricane peaks
from here to eternity
back in Aspen last year
children of kings
one man and one woman
the final tango in Paris
I never promised you a rose garden
remember my song
house of sand and fog
shadows of forgotten ancestors
that dark object of desire
how green was my valley
letter from an unknown woman

There is one specific niche within the film industry that always strikes me as particularly absurd when you look at how they handle titles. I can think of a few ridiculous examples right off the top of my head:

Big Breast Of The West
Sex Trek: The Next Penetration
Shaving Ryan's Privates
Ocean's 11 inches
Schindler's Fist
Edward Penishands Gangbangs of New York
...

Honestly, the funniest titles always belong to those low-budget adult parodies—you know, the ones poking fun at massive Hollywood blockbusters. 😂 I’m talking about stuff like *Shaving Ryan's Privates*, *Breast Side Story*, or *Schindler's Fist*.

The truly beautiful ones? They usually stem from book adaptations—think along the lines of *House of Sand and Fog*.

Here are a few of my personal favorites: *Paris, Texas*, *Silence of the Lambs*, *Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me*, *The Purple Rose of Cairo*, or even *Scent of a Woman*...

As for the worst? It’s gotta be the pretentious ones—stuff like *Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind*. 🙄

Here are a few uninspired titles: 8 1/2, which actually refers to the eight and a half weeks it took to shoot the film.

Or consider this classic Hollywood production titled—for now, without a decent working title.

A rather amusing one to me: God Forgives, I Don't.

I totally agree... I mean, ESOTSM is actually a much better movie than the title suggests, because I was expecting another one of those overly deep, Kaufman-style muddled messes...

A few more great, straightforward titles: "The Insider", "Frozen River", "Frost/Nixon", "Jindabyne", "Mean Creek", "The Exorcist", "The Shining", "Pan's Labyrinth", "After the Wedding", "Antichrist", "Gladiator", "Closer", "Matchpoint"...
