Living with one kidney

It really just depends on the person. It’s been about two months for me and I’m still not quite back to 100%, but things are definitely looking up. Usually, they say you're looking at maybe six months before you're fully recovered

Since birth. Kid was born with totally trashed, useless kidneys. Spent basically his whole life from day one until he was four just bouncing around the hospital. That’s where he learned to talk, learned to walk—the poor kid lived in those wards. Had twelve surgeries under his belt by then.
