First off, they absolutely slaughtered our thread. They’re out here playing hall monitor, policing us just because someone might accidentally strike up a conversation, which apparently now counts as "chatting."

Then, they shut down our new discussion topic simply because nobody bothered to ask his opinion on the name or the opener. Historically, we only pull a moderator into a thread when we hit a stalemate on those specific details. I see zero justification for nuking a thread that every single teenager in the group had already signed off on—we were all in total agreement on both the name and the opener. Nobody complained, BUT NO, Zodiac decided to swoop in and trash the whole thing. Seriously, administration, how much longer is this going to last? This isn't moderation; it's pure repression. I am asking you to step in, because what we're seeing here is nothing short of sadism.

EDIT: adding this post for context too.

Just so you can see exactly why we keep getting penalized by the admins.

In my view, we’ve reached a point where we either need to strip Zod of his current authority or push through some serious structural reforms; frankly, nobody is happy with how he’s moderating lately, and the arguments against his approach are incredibly well-founded. We haven't seen this level of widespread dissatisfaction with any other moderator we've dealt with until now.

Hey there! 🙂

Zodiac is honestly a terrible moderator. Most of their actions seem totally irrational—almost like they’re doing it just to be difficult. They don't really add anything to this subforum; if anything, they just focus on cracking down on people.
I was just reading up on the debate regarding the chat thread on the unknown forum, and I honestly don't get why anyone is pushing back against it. 😕
It’s specifically because certain users make that thread actually worth reading. It serves a real purpose. Instead of just listing a song title, they include a little "review" of the band or the track alongside what they're listening to. To me, that isn't an issue—it's actually encouraged. After all, what's the point of a music thread if you aren't sharing any thoughts? 😕

🤷

Like I mentioned, you end up reading some pretty interesting stuff about the bands and the songs, plus the authors share their own takes. ☕ Even though I've been unfairly banned from that subforum for six months now (and nobody besides Zodiac has an issue with me coming back, even if they can't quite explain why),

So, yeah, 😕 🙂

I can already see how all these higher-ups, mods, and admins are going to screw us over without blinking an eye... man...
"I don't see anything wrong with how Zodiac handles moderation; he’s just enforcing the rules and keeping the spam off the main site since it doesn't belong there, and James Chavez23 got exactly what was coming to him."..yeah, my ass.

Look, we need to be clear about one thing: they were never actual users, nor did they ever fall under Zodiac’s moderation. But honestly? I’m not surprised by this backlash. I can't recall a single instance where our suggestions were actually taken seriously; instead, they just get dismissed with the same tired, cookie-cutter excuses every time. And let's be real, James Chavez23 isn't bothering anyone except for Zodiac. Not to mention the unknown and the whole mess regarding opening up the chat.

Look, being a moderator isn't just about playing cop—it’s more about guiding the community by kicking off threads and actually getting people talking... Yeah, it’s a bit of a struggle trying to steer a crowd that keeps spawning threads like "Why doesn't she like me?" or "How do I kiss someone?" (which, let's be honest, nobody here is looking for!) especially when the whole group is basically labeled as a bunch of immature, clueless teenagers, but hey, we aren't exactly asking for much 🤷

But seriously, man, nobody needs to take their personal issues out on us 🤷

I drop by the unknown boards about three times a week, and even then, I see just how much of a headache Zod is being toward the mods 🤷

Seriously, does anyone on this forum actually give a damn about who starts a new chat thread on the unknown boards, let alone what they decide to call it? 🙏

Look, Zod, rules are supposed to actually serve a purpose. 😉 You can't just cook up a regulation simply because you’re bored and looking for someone to ban.

And this rule—stating that someone can't just start a new chat topic (after, say, 20,000 posts in the previous one) and name it whatever they feel like—is, to put it mildly, idiotic.

Of course, that chat thread situation isn't the only example, but that seems to be the general logic behind his entire moderation style.

Everything mentioned here is absolutely spot on.

The folks over at unknown haven't dealt with such an incompetent moderator in a long, long time.

Lies. It's all lies.

I don't get these keyboard warriors.
Like, seriously, why do you even care what he thinks??!? Tinsi and the rest of the mods/admins/gods are the ones who should be handling that stuff.

It’s pretty obvious how much people just can't stand him, and since even the Voltages aren't playing favorites here, their support actually counts for something, wouldn't you say?

I’m asking my dear colleagues to please hold off on the spam and casual chatter in this thread. It’s actually having the opposite effect of what we want ☕

We have a serious matter on the table here, and our inquiry has been officially submitted. We're just waiting on answers now—honestly, I'm not sure why they're taking so long. I'd really appreciate it if the leadership could step up with some solutions or clarity. I'm even calling on the other moderator, the PDF Teens lonepanther4, to weigh in here ☕

Anyway, that's all I have to say for now. I'm heading out toward Chicago 🙂 👋 🙂
