Hollywood blockbuster filming in San Francisco?

It seems like we're losing all our ground to those production houses in Eastern Europe or wherever they shoot those low-budget direct-to-DVD flicks these days.

Look, Boll is a total legend.☕ If I’m talking trash about him, it’s honestly just because everyone else is doing it lately—it's practically a trend!☕
That new movie of his—you know, the one where the guy makes a suit out of Kevlar?—looks pretty rough. But even so, his entire filmography (including Alone in the Dark) is easily ten times better than all the garbage Michael Gay has churned out this century.

Changing the subject slightly (just so I don't get flagged by the mods)—McG is basically Boba, and Cohen is a complete joke. I really don't expect anything from this upcoming film because, in my book, those two are some of the worst directors in the history of Hollywood. And I mean that seriously—they aren't even as bad as Ed Wood! Now, Ed Wood might not have known how to make a "good" movie, but at least his films were so hilariously bad they became cult classics. These guys? They just make such terrible, boring junk that it isn't even funny.☕

Major props to you for knowing your film theory and being great at slapping Google images together, but just because > sent you to play escort for some guy who is clearly a hundred levels above all of us here, doesn't mean you should be spilling details about where your CLIENT got sick. Honestly, you’re totally losing the plot with all this off-topic nonsense—which, by the way, is starting to get on my nerves too. And just to set the record straight, I wasn't the one who dragged poor Boll into a discussion about some Hollywood blockbuster being filmed in San Francisco. I heard some filming is headed to Miami (apparently they're pushing back the Boat Show because of it)
Since the Boat Show is being held right on the waterfront, I’m having a hard time figuring out what they could possibly be shooting there, especially considering the movie is set in the Medieval era...🤷

I'm not even sure if we're all talking about the same movie, but I know for a fact this one's been pushed back until the fall, and by then we might finally see if they even decide to film it at all, especially since everyone headed back to the States about a month ago...

Word is it all comes down to the budget, and the investors are starting to get cold feet about the money involved. They might pick things back up in the fall, but honestly, it might just be over for good...😬
