So? For me, X-Men: First Class was 🙂
Man, I just realized I completely blanked on that Wolverine one—honestly, it’s so bad I actually forgot 😵 My bad, I'm spacey, and I have zero clue if this can even be fixed 🤔

Hmm, if I had to pick between X2 and First Class in a head-to-head... man, that's a tough one. :S

It’s also quite impressive how they lay out the entire backstory for the first three films—specifically regarding Professor Xavier and Magneto.
My only real grievance is the absence of Ian McKellen; he's easily the standout actor in the whole X-Men series 👍

What’s wrong with Wolverine? 🤷 Personally, I think he’s the absolute best part of the whole thing.

Look, I can just speak for myself. 😁 This movie's a snooze—the characters are totally bland and mostly miscast (except for Wolverine). But honestly? The biggest letdown is Gambit. He’s nothing like he was in the comics or the animated series; it feels like they just slapped the same name on a completely different character. 😁

I suppose you could start with X-Men: First Class... then move on to Wolverine, and after that, maybe just follow the chronological order.

For what it's worth, I'll offer my own take 😁. I'm a huge fan of Wolverine—honestly, I only watched this because of him—so the rest of the cast didn't really matter to me. Sure, every movie has its flaws, but my favorite highlight by far is that moment where he comes flying out of that water tank screaming his head off. 😁

As for the options mentioned above, I'm voting for the first film.

To be perfectly honest, I find myself unable to decide which one to vote for, as I find merit in all of them. Each of these films possesses certain brilliant qualities alongside its own set of flaws. For instance, no one seems to bring up The Last Stand, yet I personally believe it is an excellent entry, particularly regarding the portrayal of Phoenix.

X-Men: First Class is honestly incredible. I’m still sitting here scratching my head trying to figure out if they're calling this a full-on reboot or just a prequel... 🤷

God, I really hope it's a reboot—the original trilogy always felt a bit forced to me, almost artificial, and it never quite did justice to what makes mutants so compelling. This? This is finally heading in the right direction.

Look, I love Wolverine as a character, don't get me wrong—but those first three movies focused way too much on him. It felt like everyone else was just standing there as background noise, only present to show off their cool powers. 🤷
Storm was easily my favorite, but let’s be real—she was totally useless in that lineup. As for Cyclops, Jean, and Xavier? Honestly, I can't even decide which one is more annoying. But man, Magneto, Mystique, and Pyro were absolute killers. 👍 Rogue used to get on my nerves at first—super irritating—but now? She’s basically my favorite. 😁 Maybe it’s just because Anna Paquin was pretty pathetic in the first movie—at least in my book—but she actually stepped it up later on.
Honestly, everyone in X-Men: First Class was solid—even Shaw worked for me. Not really a huge Kevin Bacon fan otherwise, though.
Word on the street is they’re kicking off filming for X-Men: First Class 2 this spring.

I mean, at least the first two were solid... they totally butchered it in the third one and turned it into a joke. 😁

Let’s be honest—aside from Wolverine, most of the X-Men cast feels incredibly bland and cookie-cutter... I mean, when you watch certain superhero flicks, you actually get the sense that these characters are real people with actual depth, but I never once felt that connection throughout the X-Men trilogy🤷. It wasn't until we got to First Class that they finally started to fix that issue and give them some life.

I voted for First Class, though honestly, those first two movies hit almost the same way for me—they're both favorites. That third one was just awful... Jean really killed the vibe for me 😢
