Dealing with senile dementia

My father has been diagnosed with senile dementia, and I’m trying to learn more about this condition and the standard treatments available. Right now, he's on a regimen of Prazina and Advil in granule form, but I have a feeling it isn't doing much for him. He still deals with frequent bouts of pain and periods of restlessness quite often...

It seems impossible that I haven't received a single response.

Why Advil? There isn't really any causal treatment involved; it all just boils down to managing symptoms. What kind of issues is he dealing with?

He was given some Advil to help manage the pain. He's also had a feeding tube put in since he can't swallow right now. On top of that, they've started him on Haldol and Cogentin.

Is anyone actually going to say anything about this nasty illness, or are we all just staying quiet? 😂
