Hi there. As the title suggests, I’m dealing with extreme paleness and heavy dark circles under my eyes. Honestly, seeing recent photos of myself was a bit of a shock; I look pretty rough. I’m also quite thin, so I’m wondering if that’s a factor, or if it’s just the result of my lifestyle—lots of junk food, smoking, and drinking. Any advice on how to fix this?

Go see your primary care doctor first. Have them run some blood work to see what's actually going on before you start guessing. It could be a dozen different things...

Maybe you're anemic, or maybe your kidneys are just acting sluggish...

Or maybe it’s nothing at all and you're just built this way. That's all I've got for now. Good luck.

Yeah, look, just clear out all that junk from your life... that’s my first piece of advice. Cut back on the cigarettes, eat more fruits and veggies, and stick to fish or poultry. You also need to get moving more—walk to the grocery store instead of driving, or just take a stroll down the block every morning and evening. Load up on high-protein stuff too. That covers the lifestyle side of things...

Regarding those symptoms you mentioned, like urbangull25 said, it could be a million different things...
Are you dealing with anything else? Like cold-like symptoms, losing your appetite, feeling heavy, stomach cramps, fatigue, or headaches? And how's your stress level? When was the last time you actually went for a full physical? I'd want to know your blood pressure, your blood sugar levels, if you have any allergies... honestly, you should probably go get some blood work done to check your hemoglobin and hematocrit levels, just to see if there's something else going on...

Ugh, tell me about it... I've been struggling with these dark circles under my eyes my entire life. Honestly, it might be your immune system; if you're drinking heavily, I’m betting that’s part of it. Usually, those bags under the eyes are a sign that your kidneys are acting up, or maybe you're just dealing with anemia... there are a million things it could be. If you're just looking to hide them for the sake of your appearance, there are plenty of quick fixes—anything from putting tea bags over your eyes to using cold spoons—but none of that actually fixes the root problem. You really ought to see a doctor and get some blood work done to see what's actually going on. Besides, like cosmicmaker30 said, you probably wouldn't hurt from eating a bit better and getting some actual exercise.
