Mickey is an absolute icon and a total institution, and honestly, I think he’s probably the reason one of the biggest mistakes in history happened when he didn't even get a single freaking nomination for Randy 'The RAM' Robinson... because in my opinion, he didn't just deserve an Oscar, he completely swept the floor with everyone else that year.

What a shame, what he did to himself. He used to be so incredibly handsome...
He was at his absolute best in films like: 9 1/2 Weeks, Wild Orchid, The Desperate Hours, Body Heat, Diner, and Angel Heart.

I ran into Warren Beatty once and my first thought was... "Man, what a total creep."

At 62 years old, actor Mickey Rourke just stepped back into the ring for his first boxing match since 1994—back when he left the sport with a 6-2 record. This time around, he walked away with a win against an opponent half his age, Elliot Seymour (1-10).

During the fight, Rourke definitely showed moments where he was "moving with his age," pacing himself, though he would occasionally snap out and land some heavy shots on his opponent. It was those body blows that really made the difference, and at one point, after Elliot hit the canvas, Rourke even threw a punch while he was down.

Honestly, it's pretty intense how much Elliot Seymour struggles with his delivery. image

Moron.

I'm talking about Rourke. He plays some tough guy, acting like he's this beloved icon. Why anyone would care is beyond me. These are just myths people build up around actors, leading fans to fight over forums about who's better. Give me a break; they're all wearing masks. I can respect the craft, but that's where I draw the line. Everything else? I don't give a damn. That's just Hollywood for you. It’s pathetic how obsessed people get with their little idols.

Rourke. He looks like trash, and honestly, I bet he is trash as a person, just like half these actors. 👍

I think this might be the biggest disaster of the year! 🤣🤣

Seriously, Kim Kardashian's backside during the Rosetta comet landing was nothing compared to this mess, which is way more intense. ☕

I have to admit, his look over the last few years—all those surgeries and everything—it really gets to me. It’s hard to watch. But if you can push past that, the guy is just a genuinely good actor. For me, nothing beats him as Bukowski in Barfly; he captured that role perfectly. That was his peak.

I couldn't agree more. As a drunk in Barfly, he was incredible. Just this broken, brilliant guy who simply doesn't give a damn about anything. That Bukowski-Rourke connection was pure genius.

P.S. Why should I care what he did to his own face in his personal life? Who cares... he's good in movies. 👍

What an idiot. What kind of face is he even making? Is he trying to live out the movie or something? Such a pretentious hack. Everything about him is just way too much.

So, he had that whole similar vibe back in the early nineties—he actually dabbled in boxing for a little bit before moving on. Then, well, the plastic surgery phase kicked in. Looking at him now, it feels like he’s done a complete 360.

So, he’s landed roles in *The Fighter*, *Iron Man 2*, and *The Expendables*... but honestly? It looks like the guy is sliding right back into that classic self-destructive mode of his.

I can't bring myself to like him, honestly—but he’s a talented actor, and at the end of the day, he’s just doing his job. It feels like we spend so much more time tearing people down for their personal flaws than actually discussing those who are genuinely causing us harm, doesn't it?

I felt bad for him, even though he basically did all that to himself. Honestly, Wrestler should've walked away with an Oscar.

How did he miss the nomination though..? 🤷
