Hey,

Could someone point me in the right direction? I’ve got about $45 to spend... I need to pick up a webcam, some headphones with a mic, or maybe just separate components without a built-in microphone...

I want to use Zoom, or something similar, to catch up with a cousin living overseas. Honestly, I think it’ll be better to listen through headphones rather than relying on laptop speakers—it'll probably cut out that annoying echo once and for all.

As for the audio, I’m undecided if a dedicated microphone is the way to go, or if I should just grab a headset that handles both...

Does anyone here have the patience or the expertise to suggest a decent setup that won't break my $45 budget?

Thanks.....

You buy a camera with a built-in mic, then maybe you can just grab some headphones from an old MP3 player. 😁

I don't own an mp3 player😁

Hmm, a camera with a built-in mic... that might actually work...........

Anyway, does anyone happen to know when Google, Verizon, or Dell last ran a webcam test?

Thanks.....
