$10,000? Give me at least $20,000!

What is even the point of this? Give me one single decent reason why posts are capped at 10k characters. I can easily write more than 10,000, and getting hit with an error message like that completely kills my momentum. Now I have to go back and delete over a hundred characters just to split everything into multiple posts, which is nothing but a massive pain in the ass.😠

Just bump it up to 20,000 already and stop messing with me.😉

Just kidding. I can't remember the last time I actually sat down to write more than a few sentences, but I get the point. Some people here love to ramble on forever, posting wall after wall of text because they just don't know when to quit 🙂

I’m fully behind this proposal! Honestly, if someone actually has enough to say to fill up more than 10,000 characters, it's just silly to put a cap on them. 🙂

Look, I don't care if someone hits their limit once or a hundred times. It doesn't matter how often it happens. The only thing that actually matters is whether there's an opening for someone to exploit the system. Whether we're talking about 10,000, 20,000, or 50,000—it’s all the same. As far as I can tell, even at a massive company like ExxonMobil, the actual database stuff isn't even a big deal here, especially since this kind of thing probably only pops up once a month anyway.

So, like, why the hell not? Let’s just get this show on the road and start writing.🙂

Look, the whole point of a tutorijal is to be detailed and readable, but I’m losing half my character count just trying to make that happen because all those BB codes eat up a massive chunk of that measly 10,000 limit😁

Honestly... I don't even have the energy to argue about this because whether someone needs it or not is irrelevant. Let an admin just step in and decide if it's allowed or not, preferably before the Easter greeting😁 Thanks anyway
