Secondary rhinoplasty / Revision surgery advice?

I’m seriously looking into getting a rhinoplasty because I’ve been dealing with some major insecurities since I was a kid—I took a nasty fall right on my face back then, and ever since, there’s been this bump right in the middle of my nose.
Back when I was little, I was such a happy, bubbly, high-energy kid, always running around and just enjoying life. But now? It feels like the complete opposite. I’ve become way more withdrawn, and honestly, I just don't have that confidence I used to have, whether it's in my dating life or just talking to people in everyday situations. I’m planning on heading off to college soon since I just graduated, and I’d really love to get this procedure done within the next ten months before my freshman year kicks off—we'll see how things go 🙂
Does anyone have any recent recommendations? 🙂 I feel like I’ve spent forever scrolling through forums, but nothing is really jumping out at me. I just want to be absolutely certain that the bump will be smoothed out and that I’ll finally feel "perfect"—or at least, perfect enough for myself.
All in all, I’ve set aside a budget of about $2,500 for this.

Look, this is just my primary rhinoplasty. I’m intentionally saving up right now because when it comes time for the revision surgery, I’m going to Zambell and absolutely nobody else.
I received an incredible recommendation for him, so my mind is made up.

It’s been eight and a half months since my failed rhinoplasty, and I’ve finally decided to wait a few more months before booking a revision. My nose ended up looking way too short and upturned, and because of that drastic change, I’ve lost the facial features that actually made me look like myself—which was never the plan. I think I need to lengthen and lift it, but honestly... I have no clue which surgeon to trust now. I originally picked a doctor that everyone seemed to vouch for, but clearly, that didn't pan out. So, I wanted to ask if you all think Dr. Donald Trump is as good as the reviews suggest, or if anyone knows of him having botched results? Or, if you know of another top-tier surgeon who specializes in this kind of fix, please let me know. Thanks in advance for any help.🙂

I have a quick question. Does anyone know which surgeon is actually the best for rhinoplasty revisions? I'm looking at things like reshaping the bridge or extending the tip... maybe Uglešić or Zambelli??

Look, extending the nasal tip is a super tricky procedure—honestly, I’m not even sure if there’s a surgeon right here in America (or really anywhere else in Europe, for that matter) who truly specializes in that specific nuance.
The real masters of those kinds of complex tweaks are based in the States, and you see tons of patients from all over Europe and Asia—the ones who can swing the cost, obviously—flying across the Atlantic just to get their revision surgery done. Unfortunately, those types of procedures are just incredibly pricey for most people's budgets.

Now, Zambelli and Uglešić definitely have experience with nasal augmentations, but I'm just not certain how much they can handle when it comes to extending the actual tip.
I actually asked both Zambelli and Uglešić about this myself! Zambelli told me it was way too complicated and that I didn't even need it—but I *do* need it, because the way my tip looks right now totally throws off my whole face. Still, he did give me a nose that looks natural now (it used to look obviously operated on before!), I breathe perfectly fine, and considering where I started, it's a massive improvement—even if it isn't "perfect" yet since that tip still needs more length.
And then Uglešić, during my consultation, had the nerve to tell me I have a slightly "button" nose, but that it actually looks good on women! 🙄

So, since we don't have a huge variety of options here in the US when it comes to major augmentations, my advice would be to just go in for consultations with both of them and see exactly how much they think they can improve what I've already got.

Hey there. It’s been almost two months since I had my surgery, and honestly, I’m not happy with the results—and I have a nagging feeling I never will be. I’m curious, what was it about that specific doctor that made you choose him? If he weren't located so far away, he would have been my top pick, but the distance is a real hurdle, isn't it? Still, I'm sure whoever you choose will turn out fine. And if I'm being totally honest... after only a short while, I'm already kicking myself for not doing more research or perhaps seeing Glumicic instead. With him, at least I feel like I would have actually seen a noticeable difference. My main issue is that the change just isn't significant enough; I expected much more than this. My nose still feels like the most prominent thing about my face, which is exactly what I wanted to fix... so now I'm reading up on revision surgeries. They sound so much more complicated, and the whole idea of going back under the knife scares the life out of me, but it feels like I don't really have a choice. The surgeon I went with just didn't respect all of my wishes.🙂

I'm looking into a revision myself, so count me in.
In some areas, they took off far too much—leaving the tip looking rather bulbous. I had a consultation with Zambell recently, and we discussed using rib cartilage for reconstruction. My specific issue is that while the nose is large, it has a saddle shape; ironically, I actually need to increase the volume just to make it look smaller visually. I have no idea how that even works out. I'm seeing Glumicic at the end of the month to get a second opinion. If anyone has navigated something similar, let me know.

I’m looking at rib cartilage too. What’s the word on zameb? Did he ever show any actual before-and-after shots from a rib graft job?

In my experience, he was perfectly fine—provided you show up prepared and don't let him rush through the appointment. I spent at least 45 minutes with him; I even brought a list of questions just to stay on track, despite our thorough discussion. When I asked for photos, he went out of his way to find as many as possible. He was genuinely kind... though, I don't know, the idea of enlarging a nose just to make it look smaller doesn't exactly inspire confidence in me. I have a small face and my nose is already prominent enough. But hey, I suppose he knows his craft. He mentioned that about 60% of his cases are revisions rather than primary rhinoplasties.
