What are the typical costs for outpatient clinics in San Francisco?

So, I’ve noticed a ton of new outpatient clinics popping up lately, including some right in my neighborhood. It makes me wonder if any decent ones have opened up in San Francisco that offer a full range of services—everything from dental work to OB-GYN exams and so on.
How much do these types of visits actually run at these private clinics? I've heard they can be pretty pricey..!??
In your opinion, are those prices actually justified given the level of service you receive??

Is there really nobody here from the Bay Area who might actually be familiar with what’s going on locally?

I have personally relied on the services at Mayo Clinic 😁
and I can say quite clearly that while any kind of consultation there isn't exactly cheap, it is worth every single cent. You arrive exactly when you are scheduled, the work is handled with total professionalism—without those endless hours spent waiting for your turn—and the lab results come back incredibly fast 👍
considering how much injustice plagues the rest of the healthcare system in San Francisco. Between the months of unjustified waiting, the blatant lack of professionalism, the sheer amateurism, and the overwhelming incompetence found elsewhere—it is absolutely worth it 🙏

So I headed over to the specialist clinic in San Diego to see my pulmonologist—just a routine checkup and some lung imaging. I actually called them up around 2 PM, and get this, they squeezed me in that same day at 6 PM. They scanned my lungs (the results were ready in like three minutes flat) and the doctor was honestly just so incredibly kind. Top-tier service, really. It ended up costing me $100, but honestly? Totally worth it because I actually felt treated like a human being, which is more than I can say for my experience at the big municipal hospital.

p.s. And don't even get me started on comparing that to the pulmonology department over at the main city hospital under Dr. Miller (who is a total unprofessional nightmare). You sit there for four hours in a waiting room packed with viruses, and then you don't even get seen because Dr. Miller is supposedly "too busy" for anyone. To top it all off, she actually called my house just to push my appointment back by four days. Like, seriously? After that, I'm done—I’m going private from now on.

So, I dug up this old thread—probably feels a bit random, but hey, maybe it’ll help someone else down the road. I headed into the clinic today to get a chest X-ray, and honestly? I haven't encountered such a rude bunch of receptionists in a long time. And I mean *really* rude. One of them was fine, sure, but the rest? Even at a massive public hospital, you usually expect a modicum of decency, right? They told me my results would be ready in half an hour. Fast forward two hours of sitting there, and I finally gave up and tried coming back in the afternoon, only for one of those young ladies to snap at me, asking where I'd been all day. 🙄 It was honestly the last straw when I saw them snapping at some elderly folks. Apparently, even having money doesn't buy you basic manners these days.
The doctors themselves seem alright, though.

File a formal complaint with management or even reach out directly to the owner via email or phone, but keep it professional. Since this is a private medical clinic, they won't be able to just brush off that kind of feedback...

I actually went to Kalajžić for a brain CT once, and honestly, everything was great. No complaints at all; they actually treat you like a human being. That’s just how it works—you get what you pay for when it comes to dignity.☕
