I’m hoping there isn't already a thread dedicated to this specific obsession, but if there is, my bad...
I've been seriously considering making it a part of my daily morning routine to just knock back some raw eggs, so I'm sitting here wondering—just how much of a gamble am I taking with salmonella? To be fair, I usually grab eggs from a local farm around town, so I'm pretty damn sure they aren't old or spoiled, but still... and besides the risk, how healthy are we actually talking about here? Is there any truth to the idea that eating them raw is somehow superior to the standard cooked or boiled approach?

Please, someone give me a quick answer before I end up with food poisoning and ruin my entire week.😁🤣

You’re playing a dangerous game here. 😉
Those farm-fresh eggs aren't coming from some sterile, industrial facility, so you're basically rolling the dice on picking up something nasty.

I don't even know what to say about salmonella. I still eat raw eggs myself, but never in the morning—usually just late at night when I’m on one of those diets and the hunger hits me hard. People always claim it's super healthy to knock one back first thing in the morning, you know how that

One egg every single morning gives your body all that extra kick, hehe

Just make sure that fresh ingredients are used, especially since the weather has been getting so warm lately 🙂
