Carol Lewis said:Honestly, I feel like any single episode of the series 24 is ten times more gripping and intense than this whole movie ever managed to be... It was actually more engaging at the very start when I didn't have all the pieces of the puzzle yet... and honestly, it probably would’ve been a much better film if I had just stayed in the dark about how it all played out.

As for the action sequences, sure, they happen... but I just don't get it—that first big kick in the alleyway, where both cars were supposedly going full throttle, and then in the very next scene, those doors look like someone just gave them a light tap with their foot 🤷 (okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a little bit, but Quaid seems way too unbreakable for my liking)... and don't even get me started on that massive truck getting kicked in the alley 👎

3/10

That rating is total nonsense.
The movie was just alright.

It isn't to me... and I actually went out of my way to emphasize the word "me" in my post specifically so people wouldn't misquote me like this!

Decent movie—pretty tense and an easy watch—but man, they really butchered the ending. And those romantic scenes between the President and the bodyguard? They almost kissed at the end... seriously, WTF??? 😲

Since you clearly only care about sappy romances and soap opera drama.

I didn't care for the movie at all. The plot was completely unconvincing, and it lacked any real sense of fun. As for the ending? A total disaster. The acting was mediocre at best. For me, it’s a 5/10.

I’m no movie critic or anything... honestly, I’m not exactly known for my silver tongue, so I won't bore you with a massive essay.

Just finished watching Point of View, and after giving it some time, I actually really enjoyed it. It has a few minor hiccups, and the way the story is laid out drags those flaws down a bit, but it's not even worth overthinking. Since everyone loves to play judge anyway... I'd give it an 8/10.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with it.
In my opinion, it pulls you right in. It’s definitely not some cinematic masterpiece, but it's still worth your time.

Couldn't have put it better myself.

Just finished watching—it’s not terrible, but there is far too much sloppy work for me to actually enjoy this movie.

The concept holds water, but the execution? Total mess.

I’m usually the type who doesn't sweat the small stuff, but I caught a mountain of errors here—everything from botched accents to a complete disaster during the car chase scene. Especially that bit where Agent Barnes gets into the Chevrolet Cruze (where they clearly show the clutch and gas pedal), shifts into first, and then just cruises in first gear for about 50 seconds.🤣 😂

I decided to give this movie a shot without setting the bar too high, and honestly, I ended up being more than satisfied.
The plot moves at such a fast clip that I didn't even bother dwelling on certain inconsistencies or minor details. Plus, the way the story unfolds felt pretty original to me—though, I’m certainly no film critic, so my apologies if this trope has been done to death before.

The ending was perhaps a bit underwhelming, but all things considered, Point of View was an enjoyable ninety minutes for me.

Man, about halfway through, things were just okay, but then the whole thing completely tanked and fell way below average.

The ending was honestly kind of pathetic; it felt like they totally ran out of steam and had zero clue how to wrap it all up. They spent the whole time pumping it full of adrenaline and crazy plot twists until they basically tripped over their own feet, so they just slapped on this cheap, lazy conclusion like the finale didn't even matter.
Still, I'd say the movie is worth a watch if you just want something fun, especially since those first two acts actually hold up pretty well.

My rating: 3/10
