Can I take 3 Motrin?

It hurts so bad. 🙂🙂🙂
I haven't felt a toothache like this since I was a kid. Two Motrin doses aren't doing anything. Is it safe if I take three? I don't want to overdose, I guess.
If anyone is still awake and knows, please help.
I just want to finally get some sleep....🙂
What kind of strong painkillers should I pick up tomorrow if my dentist won't just pull the thing out? 😢

I recently tried combining two 500mg Tylenols with some Motrin 😍—it was pure bliss. Honestly, nothing else seemed to touch this headache before that

You aren't going to overdose, and it won't hurt you as long as you have a strong enough constitution to handle it 😉

Guess I'll go grab those meds then (and some decent pliers. 🙂). My pathetic little home medicine cabinet was basically just three Motrin tablets, and they didn't do much. 😢

For any kind of pain I’m dealing with, I find that either Advil 200 or Ketorolac does the trick perfectly.

Motrin comes in 200 mg doses, so you could technically take Advil 200 instead—it’s basically like doubling up on the Motrin—and just dose every four hours.
If you're looking for an alternative to Voltaren, maybe try Diclofenac at 750 mg. It’s actually pretty solid for more intense pain, and it isn't exactly breaking the bank, either.$4.00

Motrin is basically just standard Advil 200...
It’s the exact same pill—same color, same ingredients—just twice the price for no reason.
Do yourself a favor and grab some Ibuprofen 600, the white ones.
Check the label first, though—I'm pretty sure the single dose limit is 800 mg, with a daily cap of 3200 mg.
INGREDIENTS:
MOTRIN
One film-coated tablet contains 400 mg of ibuprofen—the active ingredient—plus these extras: lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, Tartrazine, and Titanium dioxide.
ADVIL 200
One film-coated tablet contains 200 mg of ibuprofen.
Inactive ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose, Tartrazine, and

IBUPROFEN 600

Went to the dentist. They spent nearly an hour and forty-five minutes just tugging and pulling at a tooth before they could finally rip it out 🙂. Always some "unprecedented case" in their career, I guess. He suggested some Ketorolac, though he admitted it might "only help a little, if at all"—he could have just given me a placebo at that point, since nothing works once the pain hits unless you're still numb. I already took it, but I don't feel anything yet. 🤷

I’m going through the exact same thing—I had to head into oral surgery to get a tooth pulled the other day, so believe me, I know how much this sucks... 😁 My pain is hitting a solid 10/10 right now, so I’ve been trying to kill it with some Motrin, and honestly, it seems to be working somewhat—I can take two at once, which buys me a few hours of actual peace... 🙄 And let me tell you, my root canal is acting like a damn pit bull; the dentist was struggling for a full hour just to get it out. I swear, by the time he was done, three different people had already cycled through the chair next to me, all of them successfully toothless, while this one stubborn thing was still trying to tear my whole jaw apart... 🤣 As for the rest... man, just hang tough! 👍

There was this time a toothache hit me so hard I actually thought I was having a migraine. It was brutal—I was literally banging my head against the wall just trying to find some kind of relief. My mom ended up running to the pharmacy, basically begging the pharmacist for something strong enough to knock out a horse 😁. Eventually, she felt bad for us and handed over some Aspirin.
I took one, and after thirty minutes, there was absolutely nothing. Zero. Zilch. No relief whatsoever.
That said, those Aspirin tablets really pack a punch, so you probably shouldn't overdo it.
Maybe try some Aspirin 👍
