Every single time I check my blood pressure—which usually runs on the lower side of normal—my heart rate ends up being higher than my bottom number. For example, if I’m at 99 over 70, my pulse might be sitting at 80. Or if I'm at 120/80, my heart rate jumps to 93. A few doctors have actually asked me about this and wondered if I've been tracking it, but honestly, nobody has given me a straight answer.
What could this actually mean? Is there something specific I should be looking into?
Aside from that, I’d consider myself pretty healthy—no known heart issues or major illnesses. Plus, there isn't really any history of heart disease in my family...
At least three different people have expressed concern when I mentioned it, but they wouldn't really explain anything even after I told them it's always been this way. One doctor did mention something about a pre-infarction state, though. 😢
Does anyone have any thoughts or maybe a similar experience?

It feels a bit strange to me that a doctor would suggest someone is in a pre-infarction state based solely on a heart rate between 80 and 93.😕

I’m running into the exact same issue, so if anyone has any insight...

Aside from my heart rate being way higher than my diastolic pressure (how is that even possible?), my readings are all over the place. One minute the systolic is spiking, then the diastolic jumps, then suddenly my pulse just shoots up. I can't get these numbers to stabilize for anything! WTF?

So, if you're feeling your heart racing out of nowhere, it could be anything from just being super stressed or totally wiped out, to weather changes, thyroid stuff, or even some underlying heart issues👎

But hey, if that fluttering sensation sticks around for a while, you should definitely go see a doctor and get checked out

I was dealing with some serious tachycardia back when my anxiety was hitting its peak.
Basically, the doctors just told me not to sweat it—as long as my heart rhythm stays steady and there aren't any weird murmurs or anything, I'm fine.

I have noticed that during physical activity, my heart seems to switch into turbo mode... essentially, my heart rate doubles in an instant. I don't experience any other symptoms, but it does worry me slightly. It won't settle down until I squat down and take some deep breaths. At that point, it feels as though it switches back to normal immediately. Does anyone know what might cause this?
