Of course it induces sleep—that’s literally why they call it Ambien. But you don't use it for chronic insomnia... it's more for pre-op jitters or short-term fixes. Precisely because it leads to dependency.

🤣🤣It all comes down to your head, really. When you're dealing with chronic insomnia, there isn't a doctor out there who can just "cure" it. They can only help manage it. For example, things like Valium or Cerson might help ease the struggle without being as habit-forming as other options.

Just to clarify, Fevarin is actually an antidepressant, not a sedative.☕Cerson is a benzodiazepine—exactly like Ambien—which means taking it long-term is definitely going to lead to dependency. Now, Valium isn't technically a "true" benzodiazepine in that sense, so while addiction is possible if you're on high doses for a really long time, it's actually quite rare...

So why does it seem like everyone just sticks to basic stuff like Paxil or Valium? I’ve honestly never even heard of Ambien before this. Is that medication somehow considered too "dangerous" for doctors to prescribe more freely, or is there some other reason for it?
