Five minutes in and you realize there isn't much to look forward to here.

The plot is just as nonsensical as something like "I Am Legend."
It even tries to be funny at times—that bit with the cat at the start was ridiculous..

At least now I actually understand the Japanese original better.

The Japanese original is such a chaotic mess that I honestly can't see why anyone would bother with a remake. Even though the trailer looked decent enough, it seems much wiser to just skip this one entirely.

Oh great, yet another remake. Just what we needed—more absolute garbage. Thrilling.

"A Total Miss"

So I caught that movie last night, and honestly? It was kind of a letdown... It totally drives me nuts when they rush through the plot like that—it’s supposed to be a horror, right? You need that tension, that slow burn! But nah, they just sprinted through it instead.

Rating: 6.5/10 🙂

A complete waste of time. Nothing was actually scary enough, though I did let out a scream during one specific scene. That was the only highlight of the entire viewing experience. Poorly executed.

A true masterpiece of modern cinema, hands down one of the best horror films released in recent memory—you absolutely cannot miss this one!😲😲😲...Okay, I’m kidding. It was actually an absolute train wreck of a horror movie. Honestly, I'm probably glad I didn't catch it at the AMC, because I think I might have actually caused a scene in the middle of the theater.

And don't even get me started on how they messed up the subtitles at the local Regal theater during another movie—the bottom line of the text just completely disappeared...👎

Honestly, this movie is an absolute train wreck. Save yourself the trouble and just skip it—it’s a total disaster.

He’s absolutely terrible. I was watching him last night and—honestly—I was shocked about a thousand times... I actually couldn't even finish the last 30 minutes because I had my hands over my eyes. Just pure garbage.

The movie isn't anything to write home about, but man, that ringtone melody is absolute perfection. 🙂

But honestly? When you hear that phone ringing in the movie, it doesn't even sound like it's coming from a phone... it's super weird and kind of bugs the hell out of me

Honestly, this is the best horror movie I've seen in a while. I don't get why everyone is hating on it so much. Every horror fan I know thinks it's great. It feels like you guys just went in with impossible expectations, like you were expecting something along the lines of The Exorcist.

Wait... are you actually comparing "The Exorcist" to "One missed call"? 😱 Fine, I'll admit Shannyn Sossamon is easier on the eyes than Linda Blair, but that’s probably the only real advantage "One missed call" has over the original.😁

I honestly don't get why everyone is hating on this movie so much 🤷... I saw it ages ago and thought it was absolutely brilliant!!! And obviously, I’m talking about the original, not some cheap remake...
