Lately, I've been dealing with this annoying little ringing noise in my ears... just a constant, dull hum that won't quit. Has anyone else ever dealt with something like this? Any idea what might be causing it?... It’s honestly making me feel a bit lightheaded and off-balance. 🙂

I already went to see my doctor about it, too. But honestly, nobody seems to have any real answers yet.

Any advice would be appreciated....

So, tinnitus. It might be a symptom of an underlying issue, or it might not. Here’s the breakdown from Wikipedia:

Tinnitus is essentially hearing sound when there isn't any actual external stimulus. People describe it as anything from a constant buzzing to a sharp ringing. To be clear, tinnitus itself isn't a disease—it's a symptom. It can be triggered by a wide range of medical conditions (think ear infections or having something stuck in your ear canal) or even as a side effect from certain medications, like high doses of aspirin. You might feel it in both ears or just one, and the frequency varies wildly from person to person. We also generally categorize it as either continuous or intermittent depending on how often it hits you.
