This movie is stupid as hell. Actually, it’s even stupider than that.

First off, calling this an 'action spectacle'... give me a break. It was deathly BORING. Look, I’m the kind of person who actually likes slow-burn movies, so I don't get bored easily... but THIS? Which is supposed to be fast-paced? Total yawn material. The camerawork was a mess, but honestly, nothing compares to the brain-dead plot (the concept itself is fine, but the execution is just pure idiocy), the moronic dialogue, the zero sense of humor, and the forced, emotionless acting from the leads (and here I was thinking Hayden Christensen finally learned how to act... what a joke. I mean, he was great in 😍, pulling everything he could out of a terrible role—can't blame him if the script is complete garbage).... I don't know, the whole thing just felt messy and disorganized. The 'action scenes' weren't even engaging, and frankly, I couldn't care less how it ended. Seriously. And then you find out there's a sequel coming... oh, the horror.

? Like, what does it even matter if it isn't a chick flick (not like I watch those anyway)?! The movie is sci-fi (I actually love sci-fi) and as far as sci-fi goes—it's just bad, boring, and totally uninteresting... I'd even go so far as to say it's exhausting in parts. If I'm watching a sci-fi/action flick and I don't care about the plot or how things wrap up (and again—I LOVE sci-fi), then who's the crazy one here?

But whatever, I'm just talking about my own take (since that's all I can really do), so hey, I'm glad you liked it and thought Hayden was sexy😉

Honestly, I found the movie pretty dull. There isn't much going on besides a series of action sequences packed with special effects—which, frankly, was the only redeeming quality. It’s just one stunt after another without any real substance behind it. I couldn't find a way to actually get invested in the story. People keep trying to compare this to Matrix, but let's be real: Matrix is in a completely different league.

In my opinion, what the film lacks is a psychological layer—you know, the "why" and the "how," or even just some meaningful character development between the mother and son. I suppose they might try to fix that in a sequel, but as it stands, I'd give it a 2 out of 5.

That movie was absolute garbage. Honestly, just boring and pointless. No backstory on those divers, zero logic, and no explanation for anything. What a waste.

Judging by that trailer, this movie looks absolutely terrible—I’m going to do everything in my power to make sure I don't end up watching it anytime soon. It's honestly the same way I feel about the movie XxX; I still haven't sat down to watch it, and at this rate, I really hope I never do.

🙏 Man, I am right there with you on this one. Seriously. After about half an hour, I’m sitting there wondering how they manage to tank things so spectacularly!

How much did you guys trash this thing? Personally, I’ve already accepted that it’s pretty mid, but honestly, it's still watchable... if you're looking for some "no brain" mindless entertainment. Exactly! 5/10

It deserves a decent score just because of the visual effects (S P O I L E R ! !that sequence where they're jumping from one space to another while fighting over the detonator and just the overall solid VFX before and after the jump—it was great!). The concept itself is solid, it's just a shame they didn't flesh it out more since we learn absolutely nothing about how they actually gain the ability to jump! Or anything about the villains... why? How? We're just stuck waiting for a sequel... hopefully it'll be better than this.

Also, he's a bit irritating here—and I usually love S. L. Jackson—but maybe it's just that "Storm" hairstyle...
And yeah, if I were in their shoes, I’d hit the bank first too, once I'm at least 20+ years old.😁

A solid concept with decent technical execution—all ultimately ruined by the kind of overindulgence you'd expect from a Hollywood blockbuster.

Disappointing, hard to watch... 4/10.

Man, I wish I could have enjoyed even those first thirty minutes 😬
Anyway, I've just never been into sci-fi. Honestly, I have no idea why I ever thought I liked it in the first place 🤷
