Hey everyone, let me get straight to the point: as the title suggests, I was wondering if anyone here has firsthand experience with the spa scene in Santa Barbara or perhaps anywhere else in California. I am looking for some honest recommendations. Specifically, I want to know where I can find truly skilled massage therapists, which locations maintain high standards of cleanliness, and where the service is actually top-notch. On the flip side, please let me know if there are any places I should steer clear of, or if you have any helpful tips on how to make the most of a visit.

Thank you all in advance!

Best regards,😍

Hey there!
I recently spent some time at a SpaFinder in Santa Barbara—it was basically a SeaWorld experience.
The whole place is beautifully laid out over three floors. You’ve got the fitness center on the bottom, then a pool and jacuzzi on the first floor, and the top floor is a total oasis with relaxation rooms, a Turkish bath, three different saunas, and another jacuzzi. It’s really lovely. You get full access to everything if you pay the fee $63—yeah, it’s a bit pricey, but if you head in during the morning, it’s only $33.
I haven't tried their massages yet, but they offer so many options I'm sure they're great. I just stuck to a manicure, and I was really happy with it.

I’ve stayed at The Ritz-Carlton several times myself. It isn't exactly over-the-top luxury, but the pricing was quite reasonable during September. The place is exceptionally, remarkably clean and well-maintained; the pools are spotless, the massages are top-tier, and the pedicures are excellent. Even the neighborhood in Santa Barbara is peaceful—not nearly as noisy as the downtown core.
