She’s doing it all for the aesthetics! 😁

Honestly, I think I would have passed out during that treatment—I started my first day today and felt the effects immediately! 😬

So, does sweating—like, actually dripping sweat—actually melt away body fat?

Hey everyone... some days just hit different. There are days when
I just want to disappear because nothing feels right and my mind starts drifting through these dark, empty spaces.
That was me the day before yesterday... Honestly, I felt like I was losing my mind!!! I spent my entire teenage years obsessed with the scale (and honestly, I’m still not even that far 😉 ), and to make matters worse, I have a mom who people constantly mistake for my older sister. We’re doing alright now, though—she put on a few pounds, I dropped a few...
I remember going shopping together back then; I’d be hiding in the men's section grabbing trousers without even trying them on because I was too mortified to let anyone catch a glimpse of me, while my mom would be squeezing into outfits most people would say were way too young for her. I was proud of her, sure... but at the same time, I was absolutely fuming, even though deep down I knew she wasn't the one to blame for the things I was "accusing" her of.
The day before yesterday, it wasn't my mom's fault—it was just everything else in the world. We went out shopping for her because I had decided I wasn't even allowed to buy socks for the next two months. It felt like every single person walking by was "perfect"—girls, women, old ladies, all of them looking snatched in their jeans, tees, blazers, and whatever else. They had odds of being "perfect" that I'd only see if I actually won the Lott (if only 🙏 )
So yeah, that was my day before yesterday—one of those days where everything inside me turns bitter and I can't stop thinking about all the layers of fat and junk sitting on my body. Yeah...
But thank God, those days are becoming fewer and far between, and I'm starting to feel better and better!!!
It’s such a relief to just vent like this... I wish I could completely shake this self-doubt and the constant fear of failing. I'm fighting it, but sometimes the exhaustion hits so hard that everything just looks pitch black.😠
Today isn't exactly one of those amazing days, either 🙂

jadesailor14 said:I actually thought of you yesterday while I was working out on the elliptical (honestly, parents can be such nightmares sometimes, always breaking the equipment in our gym!)

So, here's the deal 😁
one of my old coworkers managed to fix up her postpartum belly and those cellulite thighs using a super "simple" 😬 method
Every single night, she would take those areas (which were definitely... let's call them "soft and jiggly"—if you want me to be polite 😁 ) and slather them in a basic cream, like that classic blue Nivea tin. Then, she'd wrap herself tightly in clear plastic kitchen wrap, pull on some leggings, throw something thick over that, and run around on the elliptical for about thirty minutes, all sweaty and bundled up
The results were honestly amazing
So, if you're feeling motivated... go for it! 😁
You've got the recipe now

hehe
And check this out
There’s this fitness studio near my place where they rub essential oils on you, wrap you in that cellophane stuff, and then make you work out... and they charge about $1 $0.00 a month 😈 🤣 🤣 🤣

Taylor Walker59 said:I didn't drop all these pounds using just one single diet. Over the last three years, I've rotated through several different plans: the Max-Planck diet, carb separation, the Atkinson diet, the UN diet...

From my own experience, I noticed that when I stick to one diet for too long, I start to loathe the food. Then I begin making excuses to cheat, and before I know it, I've completely derailed and gained all the weight back.

So, this time around, whenever I got bored with a specific plan (usually after about a month), I simply switched to a new one. I know the UN diet claims you have to follow it for three months to reset your metabolism, but I never did that. As soon as I was sick of the food, I moved on to something else...

The truth is exactly what doctors say: weight loss is simple math. Burn more calories than you consume, and you'll lose weight. Of course, not every diet works for everyone. There are certain limitations, so you have to choose your approach carefully.

I made mistakes too. There were times I'd crave pizza, burgers, ice cream, or a Coke... and once I finished eating them, I just kept going with my diet. I didn't restart from day one (which is what every diet guide tells you to do if you slip up); I just carried on as if nothing happened. That ended up being an experiment that actually worked.😁

If you get a craving, just satisfy it and move on.

There is an excellent calorie chart on this site. If you head over to that forum, go to the third page and you'll find ten documents containing very detailed tables.

Combining a diet with physical activity is vital. In the past, like many of you, I lost weight only to return to my old habits and see the pounds come right back. If you want to maintain a slim figure, you have to exercise even after you finish the dieting phase. I have thin friends who haven't exercised a single day in their lives, but for me, I have to work out or the weight will return. Sometimes I hate it.😉

Starting an exercise routine was harder for me than starting a diet. I simply didn't enjoy working out. I preferred strict diets, but as soon as I stepped off them...👎

Eventually, though, you'll grow to love exercising. At least, that's what happened to me.👍

Hope this helps.🙂

Nothing much to add, just quoting the guy here in case anyone missed his post.👍

Just watch them and hold onto your little secret—because in a few months, all that hard work you're putting in is going to be impossible to ignore. It won't just show in how you look, but in how you carry yourself, too. Because deep down, you'll have that undeniable proof that you actually did it. 😉

Interesting. Honestly, I think it’s actually a doctor's duty to point out those options to patients.

Around here, nobody tells you anything. Seriously, at this rate, I’m starting to lose faith in even the positive PAPA-test results. 👎

You might think I’m too young to be lecturing you on dieting, but believe me, I’ve seen enough—both watching others and living through it myself... My mother cycled through every fad diet imaginable, popping all sorts of pills... Every single time she stopped, the weight just rushed back. But one time, she tried something different. She combined a specific nutritional plan—you know, those days where you focus strictly on protein and cut the carbs—with actual exercise sessions with me... She lost the weight and actually toned up. The pounds didn't come back. Then, of course, she got lazy again and stopped everything. I’m telling you... you can actually lose weight through movement...

As for me... I was never overweight, but once puberty hit, I developed this massive complex about my weight. It haunted me because other people started noticing, too. I made a pact with my girlfriends to go on these strict diets. That was what truly broke me. I wasted away. I completely wrecked my blood work; everything was a mess. I dropped down to about 81 pounds at 5'3"... I desperately wanted the weight loss to stop, but I couldn't control it. I spent nights crying... I was terrified of stepping on a scale during gym class or even going shopping. My parents were lost, honestly. They took me to doctors, and I was prescribed pills to help me gain weight. I took them, and I did put on some weight. It was hard on me. Eventually, I stopped taking them and crashed right back down to where I am now—about 110 pounds... Since then, I am firmly against dieting and anything related to it! I was sick. I became ill because I let everyone else's opinions get under my skin... I don't care what anyone thinks anymore. All that matters is how I feel...
Now, I do about 35 minutes of Pilates every single day... and I’m finally happy with myself...
Love...

Man, I knew someone would eventually reply to this... though if I only knew about the 7/45 thing ahead of time... 😲

I haven't been around, hasn't been... This thread just totally died out on me. I don't know how you guys even... As for me, I haven't...
I honestly feel like this whole thing is stuck in my head. It’s not really about the weight itself, but something else weighing on my soul that’s just blocking any real progress 👎 No matter how hard I push, I can't get there... I'm dealing with this pretty uncomfortable family situation, but I really don't want to go there—I don't want to write about it—though maybe that's exactly what I should be doing. They say you can't conquer fear until you look it right in the eye, but I'm stubbornly refusing because I'm terrified the consequences would be too much to handle. Too heavy!
I catch myself wondering why it's always the descendants who have to pay the price for the ghosts of the past. For almost 10 years, I've kept it together even when people warned me that the fallout would eventually catch up to me—that I'd finally feel all the weakness I should have shown a long time ago. Instead, I played the role of Saint Peter, acting as everyone else's rock when I was actually the one who needed a foundation to lean on. All that suppressed stuff has turned into complications that probably need radical surgery to fix! My God, I feel like spears are snapping in my chest, it hurts...
I started this thread because I wanted to be honest with you all, totally transparent, but I'm failing at it. I see how much effort you guys have put into trying to help me through things, but if I told you the full story, I honestly think even you guys would give up on me. In other words, I'm scared to be who I really am 😢
I've tried so hard. Even my future mother-in-law bought me a stationary bike just to help me out, yet I lose 3 or 4 pounds and then within just 4 days, it all comes right back—and I wasn't even overeating!!! How is that even possible? Someone please tell me 🙂 you 😢
Everything is just becoming exhausting. It feels insurmountable, like I'm trapped in this endless loop and I just can't break through!
The life I'm living is so complicated. People demand so much from me—patience, attention—but from the outside, everything looks absolutely perfect. I don't want to let people in, I don't want to burden anyone. I just want to tackle this on my own again because talking (or writing) about it just makes me feel sick and embarrassed!
To stick to a diet, you need a calm spirit and a centered soul, and I just cannot reach that state right now. I've leaned into the esoteric side of things; I believe in a lot of stuff that most people would call nonsense, but I've experienced it firsthand and I BELIEVE!
Oh my God, how do I get out of this hole?!?!?!

Come on, get it together. There’s just no sense—no reason at all—to be crashing like that!!
