Hey everyone, sorry if this topic already exists—I did a bit of digging through the forums but couldn't find anything on this.
I have pretty large feet, around a US men's size 9 or 10... and I can never seem to find decent sneakers in those sizes. I wanted to know if foot reduction surgery is actually an option here in the States to shave off a size or two?
I also have two other questions. My arches are a bit flat, so if I start using orthotics, could that actually make my feet look smaller? Also, I'm carrying a little extra weight right now—does that affect foot size? If I were to lose some weight, would my feet shrink at all?
I know this might sound a bit silly, but please help me out...

Speaking from experience as someone who’s dealt with two broken ankles, the idea of undergoing elective foot surgery—regardless of whether it's even doable—is just 😱
wild to me. Just imagine how many bones would need breaking, how long you'd be stuck in bed, the sheer amount of pain, and the best recovery outlook you'd get is maybe ten years 😬
! Every little hint of rain feels like a literal hammer to my brain, and why? Is it because of those smaller shoes?

If you're carrying an extra 60 or 70 pounds, you'll probably find yourself needing a size down anyway

Thanks... I hadn't thought of it that way...😘

Just remember, you shouldn't put too much pressure on your bones or joints unless you really have to! 😉

I'm looking into getting endoscopic foot surgery—specifically for my tendons—done through a private clinic.
If anyone here has gone through this or knows the deal, please shoot me a DM.
Thanks so much! 🙂

Can someone explain what kind of foot surgery they’re talking about regarding Hillary Clinton? Has anyone here actually gone through it? Thanks.

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone here has dealt with tarsal tunnel syndrome... specifically, how you all went about treating it? I'm curious if things like steroid injections actually make a difference, or if surgery ends up being the most common way to finally get some relief from the issue...

Thanks!
