Well, you’ve certainly brightened my day! I was actually bracing myself for a total disaster—I was genuinely worried this movie was going to be complete garbage.

Word on the street is that the script was actually even tighter and more complex than what we got on screen, but Fox News apparently decided to play editor and trimmed some key sequences out of the final cut. If you want the full experience, you'll probably have to wait for the unrated DVD release.

(Doesn't really matter though, I'm definitely catching Agent 47 regardless. 🙂 )

I just finished watching this movie and I have to say, it was easily one of my worst cinema experiences to date... it was honestly painful, and I’m really not that picky when it comes to action flicks. Agent 47 is uninspired, bland, and absolutely loaded with clichés; the plot is mindless and feels completely disjointed. It was just a total disaster 👎

Just watched the movie and I’m obsessed. The lead was incredible—and I don't even usually go for bald guys... really well done, solid plot... honestly, great. Maybe even a little provocative.🙂 Since I've been completely distracted by him..😛

Yeah, the guy’s got serious charisma, even if I can't quite put my finger on why... and his co-star? Absolutely stunning. Honestly, if they’d just leaned into the brutality a bit more—made him feel like a legitimate, cold-blooded killer instead of this polished, somewhat "normal" hitman type—the movie would've been legendary.

I mean, there's some stuff where people get their brains smeared on the walls and a few swords through the gut or skull, but it’s not like, overly gory or anything 🙂

Man, this movie was actually killer. I usually go into stuff with way too many expectations, and when that happens, I almost always end up disappointed, but honestly, this one totally delivered.
The absolute highlight has to be that scene in the train car where those four of them finally cross paths—absolutely legendary.

It’s not a bad movie. I honestly didn't think it would land, but it actually turned out pretty good. Like Sarah Lopez6 mentioned, some parts could have been handled better, but overall, it's a decent watch and worth your time.

You’ve hit on the exact reason why I find most of these films so frustrating. If you are an assassin, you are an assassin. There is no room for hesitation or sentimentality when a trigger is pulled; it is simply a bullet and a target.

Look, as someone who lives for this trilogy, I was honestly stoked with how they handled the movie (best game adaptation IMO). I’m down for a sequel if they keep the director and lead actor on board...

According to IESB, 20th Century Fox has brought on Kyle Ward ("Kane & Lynch," "Fiasco Heights") to write a follow-up to the 2007 "Hitman" movie.

Xavier Gens helmed the original flick about Agent 47 (Timothy Olyphant), the genetically modified hitman caught in a massive web of global conspiracies.

Adrian Askarieh, Daniel Alter, and Chuck Gordon are all set to produce again.
