European competition prize money

It looks like there are plenty of experts in this group who know their stuff, so I have a quick question:
How much prize money is awarded for winning in the UEFA Cup qualifiers, versus the Champions League or the Intertoto Cup? Also, do they pay out just for the win, or is there a bonus for every goal scored?

From what I can gather, you get paid for wins and draws... the actual goal count doesn't even matter.
I'm pretty sure they only pay out for the UEFA Cup and the Champions League, excluding the qualifying rounds.

Exactly—and it's not even 500k, it's more like 400k for a win and 200k for a draw. That's for the group stage, anyway. At least that's how it worked a couple of years back, unless they tweaked the numbers recently. The qualifying rounds pay way less... basically just enough to move on...

So, you’ve got those group stage numbers to worry about first, but once you move past that, it’s a total madhouse—a million people fighting through the Round of 16, then hitting the quarterfinals, and so on...

I mean, they're basically getting peanuts in the Champions League compared to all the massive cash flowing in from TV rights and sponsorships...

As for just qualifying for the Champions League, I think they pull in somewhere around $3.5 million...
