My issue isn't the genre—it's that I expected a quality Film, but what I actually got was just more cliché Hollywood trash. 😉

I can’t believe I didn't find out about this Film sooner...

Watched it last night and honestly? I'm just disappointed. Not because it was bad, but because it had the potential to be twice as good. It’s a super gripping watch, mostly just because of how flawlessly the lead pulls off those murders... he's just on another level when it comes to planning.

I've gotta back up some of the earlier comments here—it’s been a long time since I’ve seen a killer this meticulous and calculated. Maybe Zodiac is an exception, but that one was more about the detective and reporter trying to crack the case rather than the killer's actual methods... The closest thing I can think of to our guy Mr. Brooks is the near-perfect killer from Fincher's work...

I’ll say it again: this Film could've been legendary if it had been handled by a top-tier director who actually knew how to focus on the villain instead of getting bogged down in trivial, useless subplots. Still, despite all that, it’s a more than solid watch. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who digs this kind of thriller.

If you enjoyed this killer, you absolutely have to check out Dexter.

Anyone who’s seen Dexter and then sat through this Film will know right away it's a total wash. There's zero tension, which is pretty much the whole point. It's just boring.

On the contrary. I think they're both excellent. Mr. Brooks' companion is top-notch. Dexter and Mr. Brooks are actually quite similar; they both operate under a very similar set of high moral principles.

I’ve said this before and I still stand by it. When you really sit down and think about it—looking at when Kevin Costner or Demi Moore actually delivered something solid—I’ve always had a soft spot for Costner. He used to carry such charming Films like Message in a Bottle or The Postman, but this just shows how far he's fallen; it's amazing how a bad Film can completely derail a decent actor. As for Demi, she was great in Ghost and A Few Good Men, so she isn't exactly terrible, but what this specific Film is offering is just lame through and through. It's pointless. I watch plenty of bad movies, but this one is in a league of its own—it is uniquely, impossibly bad. Such a shame, but a total miss.

The Film actually surprised me. Tense plot and solid acting. Sound effects feel a bit overdone and the ending wasn't really my style, but overall... two hours of decent entertainment.

If I recall correctly, they left things open enough for potential sequels..

I lasted 15 minutes—total crap.

The Film is actually pretty decent and worth the price of admission. I was worried it would turn out to be total crap—mostly because Costner hasn't had much luck picking projects lately and Demi Moore is just mediocre—but luckily, the script was intriguing enough to carry the whole thing through.

Demi Moore is mediocre... I'm just not seeing it. I can't picture any other actress delivering that legendary "suck my dick" line from G.I. Jane 🙂.

I caught that Film about two months ago, and honestly, I think it stands as one of Costner's absolute best, right up there with No Exit and Untouchable. That cemetery scene toward the end? Absolutely breathtaking...

This Film was such a pleasant surprise... Kevin is absolutely legendary when he plays the villain... It’s honestly a shame we don't see him sink his teeth into more antagonist roles like this lately... But hey, it's never too late for a comeback 😁

An absolute must-watch... 🙏
