About two months ago, I had an eye exam with Dr. Proust, and my prescription was sitting at -1.5 in both eyes. When I first started the daily exercises, it really felt like my vision was sharpening—though, to be fair, that’s always a bit subjective because once you start improving, you lose that baseline sense of just how blurry everything used to look. Everything just seemed consistently hazy at a distance, but one thing was unmistakable: my old glasses definitely weren't cutting it anymore. Eventually, I hit a plateau with the routine, slackened off a bit, and then ultimately just took a break because, frankly, the monotony got to me. A few days ago, I went back to the Vatican for a follow-up, and the specialist there confirmed that my prescription has shifted to -0.75 in both eyes, with the left eye actually being slightly better, closer to -0.5.
So, I've decided to dive back into the exercises to see where this leads.
I have to admit, I've scoured every corner of the internet looking for success stories, but I haven't found a single person claiming they managed to bring their prescription all the way down to zero. Some people claim partial success, while others don't seem to see any change at all. I'm still holding out hope that someone might eventually pop up and prove that a total correction is actually possible!
