Has anyone else ever experienced significant swelling of the genitals during intercourse?
I’m being completely serious here, not looking for jokes or trolling.
It’s happened to me twice now with my long-term partner. It wasn't just a little bit of sensitivity; the swelling was quite substantial and very noticeable.

Does anyone know what might be causing this?😲

Look, it's totally normal for things to swell up a bit from intense stimulation. Especially if you have a massive buildup during foreplay followed by the actual act...
I'm just not sure if I follow—are we talking about localized swelling in one specific spot, or is everything just generally inflamed?

Actually, saying it was "just a little puffy" is a massive understatement on my part. It became significantly swollen and flushed within about two hours of everything happening...

Well, why wouldn't they? It's not like any of us are supposed to just sit here and play "medical expert" to diagnose what's going on.
It’s most likely just irritation since blood flow increases to the pelvic region during intercourse, but honestly, overreacting to everything isn't healthy either. If she wasn't worried, she wouldn't be asking, and frankly, who else is actually in a position to help her besides professionals?...🤔

Honestly, that sounds totally normal to me. It usually pops up after a long session in bed and doesn't have anything to do with being (un)lubricated or whatever. I've always figured it’s just because of all that blood rushing down there during the heat of the moment.
