1. High levels of Candida albicans
2. Isolated Ureaplasma urealyticum >10 per 5 CCU/ml. Mycoplasma hominis was not isolated
3. Roche Amplicor PCR test for Chlamydia trachomatis - NEGATIVE (well, that part is clear)

Here is the situation. For about two months now, I’ve had increased white discharge, yet my mucosa feels completely dry—even when I'm highly aroused during intercourse. The skin in the entire genital area is cracking. Sex is incredibly painful; it burns and hurts.
My doctor is running out of prescriptions to try, and frankly, I've been told just about everything under the sun already. Also, I had a miscarriage six months ago.

Thanks.

I’ve been dealing with those exact same issues myself 😢

That being said, my doctor told me that Ureaplasma is generally considered negative if the levels are under 4; anything above that threshold requires treatment. I hit exactly 4, so I went ahead and finished a course of Doxycycline, and it cleared up for now. But honestly, who knows when it might show back up 😢 because this thing has a nasty habit of just lying dormant 😲...

I'll be heading to the hospital to get that sorted out. 😲

Honestly, don't sweat it too much, Jok, because I suddenly found myself dealing with five different infections at once! What have you been drinking lately, just soda pop? Have you tried tweaking your diet at all, especially since yeast issues are such a thing? Taking antibiotics for Ureaplasma can be a total nightmare for Candida flare-ups! You definitely don't need a hospital stay, so please, don't worry! Just try to stay calm! It took me a full year of fighting through it, but I am finally completely clear!
Have you looked into trying any holistic or alternative treatments yet?

What hospital are you even talking about? What’s the big deal? 😕
I dealt with both strep and ureaplasma at the exact same time once, and I cleared them right up. Don't sweat it too much...👍

I’ve tried just about everything you can think of for vaginosis. As far as diet goes, my doctor never even suggested cutting anything out.
Regarding the strep—it hits me constantly, much like tonsillitis, so I’m basically living on antibiotics at this point. 😢
Alternative medicine? Never touched it.
I headed to my doctor's office yesterday, only to find out he decided the day before not to work until Tuesday. So now, I'm just sitting here waiting.

Ladies, you need to try this new Lactogyn supplement. It’s the first oral probiotic designed specifically to maintain your lower flora, and you can grab it over the counter without needing a prescription. Basically, yeast infections like Candida flare up whenever your vaginal pH isn't acidic enough. Lactogyn packs all the necessary ingredients to restore that balance. Using a diluted white vinegar wash also helps immensely.
A word of advice: try to hold off on sex while you're dealing with an infection. If you're going unprotected, you're just passing it back and forth to your partner, creating this endless loop of reinfection. Bottom line—he needs to get treated too.
A doctor will typically prescribe something like Diflucan, Canesten, Plimicol, or Geonistin, depending on the specific situation. 😕
At the end of the day, sorting this out requires a lot of patience and... well, if you're the type who likes to be adventurous, remember that condoms are your best friend for staying safe!

No, there’s no stinging—it wasn't an issue before, and I'm married now. 😁
Basically... I've never felt this bad. Even with protection, nothing works. We'll see what the doctor says on Tuesday.

Listen, if you have this, your husband needs to get treated too.
How long has this been going on?
I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but plenty of women end up finding out their husbands are cheating in this exact, unpleasant way.😕

Mine was at 10 over 3, so just to be safe, I did the whole routine—Sumamed and vaginal suppositories—and my partner did too. I'm heading in for a follow-up soon, but man, I am really hoping this is finally the end of it. Dealing with constant issues down there is just such a massive headache.😠
