Ever since I woke up this morning, there’s been this weird buzzing ringing in my head, and honestly, I’m low-key freaking out that I might be having some kind of pre-heart attack situation.

Things have been pretty high-stress lately, though today feels a bit more chill... except for this constant ringing that just won't quit. It isn't like a deafening roar or anything, and my head doesn't even hurt. I’ve dealt with this before, but usually, it clears up after a few minutes. This time? Nothing.

Come on, someone please tell me this is totally normal and I'm not actually dying here.

I've got that same ringing, just like most people on this board. Honestly, just look at the weather we've been having lately. Can you even put a finger on what's causing it?

Man, I think things are looking up a bit. Shit, I’m absolutely stoked.

And honestly, buzzing in your head doesn't really have anything to do with a pre-heart attack situation (I'm guessing that’s what you meant) 😉
Based on your post, it looks like you're through the worst of it, so there's not much point in me giving advice now—plus, it's pretty hard to tell some "expert" what to do anyway

Ringing in the ears—whether you call it tinnitus or tin-nitis, I can never quite remember which one is actually correct...
It isn't some death sentence; plenty of people walk around with this their entire lives
and in your case, it was just a single episode
You aren't going to die from it, but if you let the fear and panic take over for absolutely no reason, you're only making things worse for yourself...
Generally speaking, if it persists, you go see a doctor... though if it’s accompanied by any sudden hearing loss, that’s treated as an emergency and requires immediate medical attention at a hospital like Mayo Clinic
Just something to keep in mind for the future, God forbid🙂

It’s either low blood pressure or a dip in your blood sugar—though honestly, it could just be stiffness in your neck and spine causing poor circulation, preventing enough blood from actually reaching the brain. Get moving. GIMNASTICS!🙂

I typically find myself dealing with this incessant ringing in my ears and a persistent thrumming in my head all day long whenever I indulge a bit too heavily the night before and subject myself to excessively loud music at a club... perhaps you simply overdid it on the bourbon and managed to lose track of your whereabouts last night 😁
